Julianne Hough Won't Get R-Rated in 'Burlesque'

'Dancing with the Stars' standout and country music sensation Julianne Hough might be starring in the upcoming movie 'Burlesque,' but that doesn't mean she's straying to the pop-culture dark side.

"It's PG-13, don't worry," Hough tells PopEater in an exclusive video. "It's really tastefully done. The costumes are not any more skimpy than what you would see on any 'Dancing With the Stars.'" That said, we've seen a lot of those 'DWTS' costumes and they are generally pretty shocking. But that's besides the point.

Hough says she's proud to be part of the "great" cast of the movie, which includes Cher, Kristen Bell and Christina Aguilera. 'Burlesque' will be released this November.

As for 'DWTS,' Hough says that reports of her rejoining the cast this fall are premature. "It's funny because someone said this rumor, [and] I don't know where they got it from," she says.

"I'm not saying I'm not coming back, I just don't know."

Hough says she is definitely still interested in the remake of "Footloose." While the leading male role continues to rotate among various young heartthrobs, she is set up to play the daughter of the dance-restrictive preacher.

"I'm still involved, I'm the one constant," says Hough. For the part, she'll rely heavily on her acting, not on her formidable singing and dancing skills.

"I play the preacher's daughter," she says. "There's movement for me in maybe the last number. When everyone's dancing, I'll be dancing."

"But it's all about the acting."

She is adorable and I do hope to see her back on DWTS. She shows a lot of skin in some of those costumes they wear for that show though but she always looks great.
