Is Colin Egglesfield Trying to Win Ginnifer Goodwin's Heart?

On May 22, actress Ginnifer Goodwin celebrated her 32nd birthday with her 'Something Borrowed' co-stars. Colin Egglesfield reveals to PopEater that he bought her a very special gift -- a key-shaped necklace with the word "joy" inscribed on it. "It's the key to joy," the actor sheepishly said.

He claims they met on set one month ago, and he "wanted to get her something special."

"She's a sweetheart ... She's someone I'm really fond of," he gushes about Goodwin -- without actually addressing their dating status. Hm, sounds like they're more than just friends.

The two are currently filming 'Something Borrowed,' which also stars Kate Hudson and John Krasinski. The movie revolves around a Manhattan attorney who becomes involved in a passionate affair with her best friend's fiance. It is slated for a June 2011 release.

Egglesfield, who is best known for his portrayal as Josh Madden on 'All My Children,' made tabloid headlines when he and Hudson were caught making out on a Hamptons beach. But don't worry, ladies -- it was all for the movie.

"She lights up the screen whenever she comes on camera. I can see why she's a movie star. She has that 'it' factor," he gushed about Hudson at the 'Sex and the City 2' premiere.

But you probably won't find them hanging out off set very often. "After 16 hours of working, you just get sick of each other and [want to] leave," he admits.
