Reports: Charlie Sheen Will Serve Jail Time
Charlie Sheen will plead guilty to a misdemeanor offense and serve 30 days in jail for allegedly
assaulting wife Brooke Mueller on Christmas Day,
PEOPLE reports.
Sheen has been charged with felony menacing and misdemeanor assault, but is hoping to cop to only a misdemeanor for the incident, which occurred while the couple were vacationing in Aspen, Colorado.
"Charlie intends to go to court on June 7 [to] plead to a misdemeanor and immediately begin serving his 30 days in jail," says the source. "With good behavior, he could end up doing 15 or so days."
This year has been full of ups and downs for the actor and his family. In February, Mueller entered rehab for substance abuse, and Sheen
checked himself into a facility as a "preventative measure" a few weeks later.
The couple have been living in separate homes while they "work on their marriage," and are currently sharing custody of their twin boys, Max and Bob.
Professionally, things are going well for the actor, who will be staying on for two more seasons of his hit sitcom 'Two and a Half Men' and is getting a huge pay raise to the tune of nearly $2 million per episode,
according to reports.
The plea deal would allow Sheen to serve out his jail sentence before the new season of 'Men' starts shooting at the beginning of August,
PEOPLE reports.

Vdog, u iz nignerant!
I'm not perfect either. But to reward someone who really doesn't deserve it with 2 million dollars an episode when there is so much better use of the money is unconscionable.
There are people losing their jobs everyday - still. I've been out of work for a year now and just want to be able to make a decent living. I've paid the price through hard work and sacrifice and have even sought additional education after losing my job. So when I look at this kind of stuff - I'll fess up - I don't get it!
WTF is the matter with America?

It's all about ratings, entertainment value and sponsor advertising revenues. The writing for this show is just superb, which helps. Yes, Charlie has been cruisin' for a bruisin' for a long, long time now. A couple of weeks in jail should get the message home.
Charlie Sheen deserves EVERY penny that he gets. He is, undoubtedly, the most gifted star that TV has!! He is incredible and amazing! His delivery is soooo funny that I laugh days later about his show. I would love to see that show go on forever...and whatever Charlie wants for pay, he is WORTH IT!!!!
vdog stop with the race card
I agree. Its a slap in everyone's face and what kind of message does this send? Sheen's guilty of abuse, both drug and physical, gets a slap on the wrist, a hefty pay raise and goes about his merry way! TOTALLY REDICULOUS! I for one will NOT be watching for however many seasons he's on TV!
THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH AMERICA. THIS IS CAPITALISM. THE MAN IS WORTH THE MONEY TO A HUGE AMOUNT OF AMERICANS SO IT STANDS THAT HE GETS PAID ACCORDINGLY. PEOPLE WHO HAVE LIVED THEIR LIVES DOING NOTHING SHOULD GET NOTHING. ALL THE HARD WORKERS THAT DON'T HAVE A JOB, THESE ARE PEOPLE THAT I'M CONCERNED, NOT YOUR BLEEDING HEART "GIVE AMERICA AWAY" TYPES. IF YOU DON'T LIKE CAPITALISM MOVE SOMEWHERE ELSE WHERE YOU'LL BE HAPPY.
Maybe you should go into acting.
bstil, sorry you're unemployed, but that was a stupid post. CBS is not a social welfare agency. Even if they didn't give him a raise, that money is not going to go to poor people, although I'm sure all the "little" people on that show are very happy to remain employed for the next two years. The show is a hit, it makes money,it was a wise financial decision on the network's part.
It wont say that he will have his own cell. But he will. If he was to be placed in a cell with the other inmates.. he wouldnt last long at all. So his 15 days,, it wont be 30, will be in a cell alone, with privledges we only can imagine.
There are two sets of laws in America. One for this kind of person,, celebrity. And one for the average working guy.

It sucks that an innocent man has to go to jail at all. She told the police that she had lied about the whole situation, and when the prosecutors threatend to throw her in jail for making a false report, she changed her mind again. We have the VAWA act to thank for this one.
You hit the nail on the head. My father towards the end of the O.J. trial said even with all the evidence that would put the average person on death row, he is going to walk. Not bad for a guy who was in his 80's at the time.
It is not guilt or innocense, it's how much money it takes to hire a topnotch defence and some to grease skids.
Somebody needs to beat the crap out of him, mess up that arrogant face of his.
I'd call him a pig, but pigs are pretty nice animals.
Sheen is the lowest form of human life.
Charlie rocks!

does anyone really care if sheen spends 30 days or 30 yrs in jail? whatever time he spends won't change the fact that he is a lunatic and whomever he is married too it will end in disaster.
Anyone who subscribes to the miss-guided theory that the Gov't blew up the World Trade Ctr should be put away, too bad its only for 30days.

We all know it was Charlie Sheen that took down the Twin Towers after a night of binge drinking, but there just wasn't any witnesses. At least that's what Brook said.... just sayin'.
