Charlotte Church and Longtime Boyfriend Split Up

Five years, two kids and one engagement later, singer Charlotte Church and her rugby star boyfriend, Gavin Henson, are calling it quits. The split comes less than two months after announcing they were finally getting married.

In an April OK! magazine spread, Church described how Henson borrowed his boss's helicopter and whisked her away to a seafront restaurant in her native Wales, where he proposed. "Absolutely joyous," she later described the moment.

A spokesman confirmed the split.

To help drown his sorrows, Henson has since jetted off to Spain for some quality time with friends. Church is reportedly at the couple's home.

Church and Henson have two children, Ruby, 2, and 16-month-old Dexter, and have been together since 2005. The Welsh star got her start in classical music before crossing over to pop music.

what hell does severing have to do with staying married?!! that's is a bunch of bull...., my parents are TRUE CHRISTIANS 100% and they got divorced!!!! so don't give me this crap that if you serve the lord you won't get divorced, and everything in life will be just fine, no i'm not saying i don't beleave in god because i do very much, it's just that divorce can happen, does happen to anyone that is just the way life is.

Hey, Brenda. Yes, there are a lot of divorces, at least 50%. And people break up before marriage. I do know of some christians who have gotten divorced, and remarried. The only scriptural reason for divorce is Matthew 19:9. When married people serve God first, then they can serve each other right. If people were more selfless instead of selfish, divorce lawyers would have to find new jobs. And about half of christians being false....it's probably at least half who say they are in name only, but not actions or lifestyle. Just remember what Jesus said in Matthew 13:24-30 about the wheat and tares. Real christians will be separate from false christians.

It really is pitiful and pathetic to see all of these people (including non-celebs) procreating without even the thought of marriage. Where did values and morals go? You can blast me and say that's life today - but it is pure selfishness and living without purpose. These people don't think about the kids when they casually move from one person to the next like marriage and having kids is just a hobby. They need to clean up their dirty lives.

Well, I confess I am a Christian. Jesus is my lord and saviour, also I am divorced. There is not alot that you can do in a no-fault state when your spouse decides to divorce you and go with the bimbo from the office. Except let them go and forgive. Your life will be better.
