Details Emerge About Gary Coleman's Fatal Fall
Gary Coleman's fatal fall, from which he suffered an intracranial hemorrhage, occurred after an "intense 4-hour dialysis session" to treat his kidney disease, his friend Jeremy Spence tells
Us Weekly. "Dialysis had taken a lot out of him that day," Spence says. "He just wanted to go home, but he was pretty weak."
Although Coleman underwent several dialysis sessions a week to help curb the kidney disease nephritis, which was responsible for stunting his growth, Spence claims the 'Diff'rent Strokes' actor "had no strength at all" when he returned home at around 3 PM on May 26. That's when Coleman slipped and hit his head, causing a one-inch gash.
Coleman was rushed to the hospital after the fall. The following day, a spokesman for the actor said that he was "conscious and lucid" upon his arrival at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo, Utah, but later slipped into a coma.
The actor passed away on May 28 at 12:05 PM Mountain Standard Time with his family by his side. Coleman's manager, John Alcantar,
told PEOPLE, "[Coleman] was removed from life support; soon thereafter, he passed quickly and peacefully ... By Gary's bedside were his wife and other close family members."
Throughout his life, Coleman battled various health issues. He suffered from a congenital kidney disease, which halted his growth at 4-foot-8. He received two kidney transplants -- one in 1973 and one in 1984 -- and required daily dialysis.
The 42-year-old actor suffered two seizures earlier this year. The first occurred on January 6, while the second
took place in late February while he was on the set of 'The Insider.' During the
911 call from the latter incident, an 'Insider' staffer told the operator, "We have someone having a seizure right now on our stage ... we just need someone as soon as possible."

I don't fill that Mr. Colemen slipped and fell. I fill Mr. Coleman was hit by a sharpe object and the plung was pulled for the purpose to make sure he did not disclosed actually what happen to him. The media creates their own lies, but the Spirit brings out the truth.
MONEY? what Money? He was a mall security guard.
Pulled the plug for money? Coleman was broke.
Remember, Bret Michaels was in good health prior to that injury. Gary had been on dialysis every day for years. He has been sick since being born with nephritis.
i suppose thats why he always seemed to be in a grouchy mood. i also have liver situation and when i get tired i dont wanna talk to anyone, you just dont have any energy to even move.
yeah so cool
CELJ- the "Spirit" truth is that your grammar and spelling is atrocious!

CELJ, please tell us English is not your first language, that you're using this forum to practice your newly acquired language. You should consult a dictionary to ascertain the differences between "fill" and "feel", you meant to use the latter in your statement. A Sharpe is a type of permanent marker, sharp is the opposite of dull. The word "plung" does not exist in the English language, you should have said "plug". Good luck learning English, it is a goofy language, but not quite as goofy as you've made it!
You just said what I have wanted to say, spell right before you post
Agreed with most of what you had to say, but the marker is a sharpie. :)
As far as pulling the plug for money....do not think they meant the money he had, but as these stories are revealing the money that his ex is making now on her stories and photos.
Yeah I think they pulled the plug way to soon, could have at least waited a week to see if he improved.

ROD,Coleman had to have no brain waves to "have the plug pulled". in order for the "do not revive papers" to be offered, the docter is responsible. Its a tough day when you have to sign those papers for a loved one.
You are speaking of two different medical issues. Mr Coleman suffered an ofintracranial hemmorhage while Mr Michaels suffered a subarachnoid hemmorhage. Please check your facts before you respond.. Also Mr Coleman as the article stated was very weak after a round of dialysis, whereas Mr Michaels had reported an extremely sharp pain in the base of his head .

I hope he is finally at peace. Has anyone noticed the Insider is not saying anything about this? Well I guess not after how they mocked him and treated him horribly.

Sorry, but i do not buy any of this. I can not think of anyone i know that would unplug life support so quickly.
For some reason i think there is more to this story and it involves foul play.
Police needs to fully investagate.

Do you think that if the relatives were advocating for the plug to be pulled too soon wouldnt the hospital have intervened?? Just a thought, but I think it was pulled too soon also...
as a mother of someone who had a brain injury, the hospital did tests for brain activity before she was taken off life support. The doctor and the hospital chaplin declaired her brain dead. I cannot imagine a situation where the family would be the ones who decide to remove life support without the doctors support.
Coleman was a spunky little dude and I liked him for it. When the regulars on the "Insider" tried to get him to say something he didn't want to, He said I'm leaving and I hope you get hit by a bus on your way home! He turned, gave them the finger and left. I loved it. I thought those liberal butt kissers were going to start crying. Sweet!
