Pastor: 'I Pray For Spencer and Heidi'

Pastor Twining Campbell, who officiated the wedding of 'Hills' stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt in April 2009, is hopeful they will seek counseling and repair their marriage. News arrived last week that the two intend to separate.

"I believe they can get through these problems and enjoy a long, wonderful marriage," Campbell told RadarOnline.com. "I hope they get some counseling and talk about their life together before they decide to separate. I'm very sorry to hear about their problems because I like them both. I pray for Spencer and Heidi and their happiness."

Campbell, a pastor at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Pasadena, California, married Heidi and Spencer in front of 200 guests and an MTV camera crew.

"I'm sure that one of the issues they struggle with is the stress of their work together," Campbell said, referencing the fact that Spencer and Heidi live little of their lives out of the limelight.

Campbell told Radar that Spencer and Heidi were required to attend premarital counseling before their wedding. "Most couples have faced difficult times and love is tested," he said. "It seems to be the one common denominator of all marriages and relationships."

Campbell isn't the only one talking about the separation of Speidi -- Jennifer Bunney of 'The Hills' told Radar about plans to get a Malibu beach house with Heidi this summer. "It's just her being able to have some freedom from marriage and for us to work on our friendship and focus on things we want to focus on," Bunney said, adding Heidi and Spencer are "not legally" separated.

These two losers again? Must be a slow news day. Spencer is one of a very few who can tell his wife "You're not the woman I married", and actually be right.

That's true, but Heidi can look at him and say, "YOU ARE THE WOMAN I MARRIED".

I think this is all a publicity stunt. She has said in the past that she can't go more than 24 hrs without doing him, GROSS. He has problems, huge problems. I can't stand either one of them, but Heidi better watch her back.

I think it's a publicity stunt. She has that new reality show with Jennifer Bunney and they cannot have Spencer going psycho on that show. Once filming is over, she will go back to Spencer with arms wide open.
