'Glee' Star Jane Lynch Weds Longtime Girlfriend

'Glee' scene-stealer Jane Lynch married girlfriend, Lara Embry, at the Blue Heron Restaurant in Sunderland, Massachusetts on Monday, Star Magazine is reporting. Though the couple lives in California, they held the ceremony in Massachusetts where same-sex marriage is permitted.

Star reveals the intimate ceremony for 21 guests began at 5:30pm and was held on the restaurant's outdoor porch overlooking Sugarloaf Mountain. The 'Glee' star and Embry both wore suits to the wedding.

After the ceremony, the guests and happy couple moved inside for dinner and the reception. For the fete, guests could choose between duck or grilled sea bass and for dessert, the party indulged on white chocolate mousse layer cake. After the feast, a band played and guests danced until 10 pm.

Restaurant employee Scott Mercure tells Star, "They've been planning the event for the past few months. We were all so excited. They're really great people." The couple chose a neutral beige color scheme and sprinkled in seasonal flowers. Mercure reveals, "It was a really beautiful event."

The rehearsal dinner took place the night before at Bistro Les Gras in Northhampton, Massachusetts.

Now that they are Married I hope they enjoy Eternity burning in the fiery,eternal flames of HELL where they will have left theyre bodies and forever be tortured for having sex with someone of the same sex!!! GOD will not tolerate this!!! MY GOD!! Some express this point of view and it blows me away.Do guys who have sex with women that arent the spouse also go to HELL?? Do guys who get drunk go there? What about non Christians? I am Christian and I dont get why some are so fired up about same sex marriage & this will be legal in every state soon. Also,this shouldnt be up to voters any more than civil rights laws allowing minorities and women rights should be subject to the voters.GOD bless EVERYONE!!!

And lets get something straight more gay couples stay together longer then most straight couples I know. And as far as children turning gay you probably know more then u think. I don't get the conversation going on between something that is real, such as the fact that homosexuality is prevalent in humans and other mammals on the planet, and a religious myth that ranks with the old defunct Greek, Roman and Norse "religions" that were once thought to be "truths" but were then considered "mythology" after the more popular Christianity (which was an offspring from the very old Judean religion) took over and was then spread by different conquerors who then controlled the old European civilizations. The popularity is easy to see because the main stories in the book "The Bible" usea a more humanlike character, Jesus. People "want" characters like that and are more willing to accept it as a "truth". All stemming from a time when humans needed to explain the wonders that this magnificant rock flying around the Sun has on it after some 4.5 billion years of evolutionary processes.

What is wrong with these so called "CHRISTIANS" are they supposed to respect, understand and love each other?? I thought that was the Christian value, but I am wrong. And it's funny. Think of the limited information the lord had to go on back then, (Which was none)and imagine him here today, walking among us with all that we know today with science and human nature. Now according to the "Church" and all you "Good Christians" the Lord was a most giving, caring, forgiving and UNDERSTANDING man. I believe he would have been smart enough and courageous enough to adapt to the way the world changes. This is just silly. People are fighting against homosexuality based on a doctrine that also states that it is worth punishment for a person to wear anything less than 100% cotton. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the bible as a legitimate moral guide, and by that same flow of thought, there is absolutely nothing wrong with religion, but it is very wrong to perverse its teachings in a way that justifies treatment that we all know is wrong. We as people always need something to hate, the current favorite thing to hate is homosexuals. So have fun being full of you terrible, stupid, uneducated hate.
