Gary Coleman 911 Call Details Released, Wife Afraid to Help

After Gary Coleman suffered a fall on May 26, that led to his death on the 28th, his wife, Shannon Price, called 911, and was reluctant to come to the aid of her husband, TMZ reports.

"He just got home, I heard this big bang, I went downstairs. Blood everywhere. I don't know if he's okay. I'm not down there right now because I have a fever, if I get stressed out I'm going to faint," she told the operator.

"He fell. His head is bloody. There's blood all over the floor. I don't know what happened," Price continued.

"Is there any way you can go down there at all?" the operator asked. "I'll try, I don't know, I mean..." she said.

"I've just been kind of sick. I don't want to be traumatized right now," the 24-year-old added.

She then called out to Coleman. "Gary, are you okay? ... Stay where you are."

With instructions from the 911 operator, Price told Gary to apply pressure. "Gary, you have to put pressure on your wound."

"He's lethargic, I can't really help him. I just need help quick," she went on. "I just can't be here with the blood. I'm sorry, I can't do it. I can't. ... There's blood all over and I can't do anything."

"Yeah, I'm just panicked. I don't know what to do ... I just don't want him to die. I'm freaking out," Shannon cried on the phone when told to give the 'Diff'rent Strokes' star a towel.

She finally acquiesces. "You have to put this on your head ... Keep pressure on this, okay, hold this. You need to sit down. Sit down! Gary, sit down!"

Right before the ambulance arrived, Price said, "I'm gagging, I got blood on myself, I can't deal."

Coleman was taken off life support two days later. Doctors determined he suffered from a brain hemorrhage.

Ummm...ok. So, to those who cannot believe she could not help...BS to you all! I got friend who is now in his early 70s and years ago.....like 20 something years ago my daughter was hurt bad and bleeding bad and my friend was there and guess what people?? HE FREAKED OUT. HE JUST FROZE! THE BLOOD FREAKED HIM OUT! ALL HE COULD DO WAS STAND THERE AND FREAK THE HELL OUT! So, you wanna call this wife of Garys names etc and say this and that so be it. LOSERS! All of you. You were not there! All you do is read this BS and believe everything you read. Guess what people? The media is full of it. Nothing you read can you trust and not one of you was there so who the hell are any of you to judge someone coz hey...you can deal with blood, you are all so perfect and would know just what to do right? Well, there are people in this world who just cannot deal with blood let alone an emergency. Oh dear, imagine that! If the wife was a suspect the police will do their job..but guess what people? SHE IS NOT A SUSPECT SO STOP MAKING HER INTO ONE FOR GOD SAKE! And, this is the SAME WAY Natasha Richardson died. She hit her head too. So it HAPPENS and it is NOT someones fault it happened. That is why we call these terrible things that happen accidents. So STOP bashing Garys wife, I think she has enough to deal with without having to be accused of BS by a bunch of LOSERS! RIP GARY. And to his wife, take it slow, and may you find peace somehow with what has happened to you and Gary. Very sad accident....very sad.

I can tell that none of dimwits have ever had a phobia. Believe it is the most horrible feelings you can have. I have had a phobia for years, have had counceling and am on medication to control the panic/anxiety attacks.
