'Housewives' Star Sonja Morgan Busted for DWI
'Real Housewives of New York City' star Sonja Morgan was busted for driving while intoxicated Monday morning in Southampton Village when she failed to halt at a stop sign. Police pulled her over at 2:16 AM, and after she failed a series of field sobriety tests and refused a Breathalyzer, they took her to the local police headquarters and charged her with DWI,
NY Post reports.
According to a Southampton Village officer, Morgan had been partying on the East End over the course of the Memorial Day weekend.
Morgan, the ex-wife of John Adams Morgan, great-grandson of famed financier J.P. Morgan, will appear in court to face the charge at a later date.
She told
PEOPLE magazine in April that her divorce was part of the reason she turned down Bravo TV's 'Housewives' the first time around.
"The show had reached out to me, but I was too chicken. I was freshly divorced," she said.
She joined the New York 'Housewives' this season and has been causing quite a stir -- dating younger men and living an extravagant lifestyle.

I cant stand a drunk driver.
I am glad she was arrested. These kinds of drivers dont stop to think about others. They are selfish ,and negligent.
I hope it was worth all the consequences, that go along with driving drunk.

I really want to agree with you Diana. I would like to see her get punished for this. But unfortunately, I have to agree with Rex. In America, there seem to be different, unwritten rules for the rich and famous that differ from everyone else. The most she will probably get is a ticket or something.
i cant abide dui folks its just too dangerous. i have a slight and occasional numbness in my right ankle. i refuse to drive in the one chance it 1000 i wouldnt have full capacity of my driving foot. i couldnt live with myself if i hurt someone. so all i cant conclude is she is selfish as heck or she has a drinking problem either way, she needs sobirity as a lifestyle.
It is very sad to say but this will mean nothing to her. She has tons of money( why???????? stupid people support those kind of shows)But again if you look at some of the dui-dwi laws in some states anybody can be screwed!!!!! For the most part it is normal avarage joes because it makes money!!!!!!!
Where are the hollywood celebs on this oil spill?Where is clooney, michael moore, and all the other looney tunes? Where is the phoney outrage? There was plenty of it for Haiti.Hats off to Kevin Costner and James Cameron though.

Hats off to Kevin Costner...At least he puts his money where his mouth is, unlike some of the other cheapskate Hollywood do-gooder lefties. He spent over 15 million dollars of his own cash for research involving the separation of oil and water to clean up these so called accidents..(sabatoge)
I respect and admire him for this....Babs should tear a page out of his play book.
It is not their responsibilty, its friggin BP's........they have the money, they did this...they need to clean it up...and btw, i live on the gulf coast.

You must go to lots of Flea Markets and Garage Sales as you seem to like used merchandise.
Too bad Sonya didn't have the sense to stay over at someone's house, or stay where the party was. She should not have driven. At least she didn't hurt anyone or get hurt herself. Hopefully she learned a valuable lesson. She could have hired a driver, or used a cab. I like Sonya on RHWNY. She seems like a neat lady. I'm surprised that Kelly didn't get arrested for something again, since she seems like she is definitely impaired!

Sonja thinks she is all that.She thinks because she has money she is above the law.I watch her on TV and she is so shallow.I hope she re evalutes her priorities....maybe give to a charity instead of buying another ugly Chanel dress.

Ok people it is a known fact that if you have less than 2 drinks you get pulled over!!!!! I don't ike that he she but I been trying to get well known drug users and dealer busted, and you know what I was told????? that it is to much work for the law enforcement people!!!!!!! Its quick money!!!! lucky for that thing she has money!!!!!
