Kevin Costner Welcomes Seventh Child

Kevin Costner and his wife, German model Christine Baumgartner, welcomed their third child yesterday in Los Angeles, E! Online reports. Baby girl Grace Avery Costner made the 55-year-old actor-director a dad for the seventh time.

"Both mother and daughter are doing well," Costner's rep said in a statement.

Baumgartner, 36, and Costner were married in 2004. Their first two children are both boys -- Hayes Logan, 1, and Cayden Wyatt, 3.

Grace was born at 5:46 PM, weighing 7 pounds, 11 ounces, and measuring 21 inches long.

Costner was married once before Baumgartner. His eldest child is 26.

The 'Waterworld' star made headlines recently for dedicating years (and a fortune) to an armada of seawater-cleaning machines called Ocean Therapy -- technology that could help solve the crisis of BP's gargantuan oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

"I've lost $40 million-plus," Costner said. "But I knew that if I was right, it would change things in an incredibly positive way."

you people are ignorant the one he had with his then girlfriend Bridget Rooney after his divorce from Cindy was his 4th so this is his seventh the one he had with bridget was born in 1996 so he's 14 now the three with Cindy are 26 23 and 21 and his three with Christine are 3 16 months and newborn

Wow Courtney,you posting the man's birthday's of his children seem a little freaky to me. You're not a stalker are you?
The machine Mr. Costner owns is mainly for oil spills, not oil leaks. it would be interesting if the government would at lease entertain the thought of trying it, in the effort to lift some of the crude from the oceans surface.
This country has to be the laughing stalk of all the world because of this leak...What a shame.

hello those are actually right in his imdb bio so it's not strange at all and being a huge fans I tend to remember the birthdays of the children of the stars I love so step-off for example his former Co-star Paul Newman's five daughters birthdays are

Susan February 21st 1953
Stephanie May 1954
Elinore "Nell" April 8th 1959
Melissa "Lissy" September 27th 1961
& Claire "Clea" April 21st 1965

don't jump on me for that example he & Paul are simillar in a lot of ways oscar winners and both married twice

UMMM You "love" the stars? Do you know them personally? Explain how you love someone that you don't know? or love a thing for that matter...object program, movie, music?? I am old and slow and don't understand it. As far as Mr. Newman...I do believe that he is dead and buried.
