Why Is Kristen Stewart Angry All the Time?

If I could ask Kristen Stewart one question, I can tell you what it wouldn't be -- Is Rob Pattinson a good kisser? And it isn't because I don't want to know. I do (I suspect he may be a bit of a biter). No, the question I want to pose to Ms. Stewart, the earthly incarnation of the fictional Bella Swan, is: Why so serious?

In real life, K-Stew rarely cracks a smile, not on the red carpet, not in interviews and not when cuddling her supposed boyfriend Pattinson.

Now, we know her permanently-pained expression may have something to do with her paranoia about being constantly watched and photographed in public.

In a new Flaunt interview, Stewart rages about the bane social media has become on her existence. "Twitter f**ks me over every day of my life, because people go, 'I'm sitting next to Kristen Stewart right now,' and then they [paparazzi] show up. I see people on their phones ... It's like, 'Get off your f**king phone and get a life!' I get so mad. It's like you're trampling on someone's life without any regard, and it's rampant. Everyone can do it now. Buy a camera and you're paparazzi; get a Twitter account and you're an informant. It's so annoying."

Memo to Kristen: Sure it's annoying to have cameras in your face all the time, but trust us, you'd miss them if they started ignoring you.

Tweet-happy fans aside, what does the starlet really have to pout about? Blockbuster career? Check. Indie street cred? Check? Hot (probably) boyfriend? Check.

Apparently, a lot. The paparazzi pressure is so intense that Kristen compares the picture-taking to being raped, a comment rape crisis groups aren't too pleased about.

"The photos are so ... I feel like I'm looking at someone being raped," she tells British Elle. "A lot of the time I can't handle it."

Last June, Stewart told American Elle that she isn't as miserable as she looks. She's just freaked out by the scrum of cameras. "It's not that I'm miserable, it's just that somebody's yelling at me. It's a physical reaction to the energy that's thrown at you," Stewart said.

Stewart's 'Panic Room' co-star Jodie Foster, a seasoned actress who also found fame at a young age, told Stewart that the young actress could learn a little something from her career path when the two met up at the Oscars (hint hint Kristen, college is good for you). But when asked recently about her advice for the young starlet, Jodie said she thought she was doing just fine.

"She's on the right track. She's a good girl," Foster told People magazine.

Career-wise she may be doing great, but fame comes with a price and unfortunately that price includes cameras and crowds and fans who want to tweet that they saw you, and that's just something Kristen needs to learn to live with because until this 'Twilight' franchise is put to bed, it's not going to end. It's not ideal, but it doesn't suck as bad as you make it seem, Kristen. So smile for the camera -- just once -- and we promise we won't tweet it.

I can't stand her and her monotone acting. She ruins the Twilight franchise with her zombie like performances. There are plenty of very talented unemployed actors who would love to be in her place and have the fame, money and attention she whines about all the way to the bank.

Who are we all to judge her? We have no idea what her life is like or what it feels like to be afraid to walk out of your house and be mugged by adoring fans(most of which are absolutely crazy). It is possible to admire someone and idolize them w/o trying to rip their hair out or crush them in a mob of people. And that goes for any Hollywood star. The paparazzi push things way to far. These stars have a right to walk to the park with their kids without having cameras shoved in their face and fearing for their children's safety. I'm not saying they shouldn't be aloud to get their pictures, but there should be laws as to how close they are aloud get. If it was any one of us and someone was basically STALKING us and looking in windows to take our pictures, they would be arrested. But because they act in movies and get paid large sums of money, we all think it's okay to invade their privacy. And if your privacy was invaded, you would be pissed off too and probably a little paranoid that everywhere you go you were being watched. I don't understand where we draw the line and what deteremines when a person no longer deserve the same rights as everyone else.

How do you know in real life she doesn't smile much? You follow her around or something? This is the dumbest article I've read in a long time. You want a robot that smiles and acts like they like fat old dudes saying "bend over a little more honey" while she's pumping gas, go look at vanessa hudgens pictures.Does smiling really indicate someone's real mood? She just seems serious to me. I like she's not being a big camera ho all the time like Heidi Montag.

not liking someone's acting doesn't make a person a 'hater'. it just means that they are, perhaps, using a different or even higher standard to judge the work by.

as one of those people who 'just don't understand nothing' i am happy to stay that way, as stewart is one dimensional onscreen and will be doing all she can to get in front of the paps when they are bored with her. and it will happen...maybe not tomorrow or the next day, but it will happen. she will be gone once this twilight nonsense dies down.

I normally wouldn't be very sympathetic, but this is Twilight we're talking about. The Twilight fanbase is more than a little rabid and very much insane. Back when the first movie came out they were doing some booksignings, Pattinson said girls would scratch their necks until they bled, so they'd be bleeding when they got to the front of the line and then say 'We're bleeding for you, Edward!' Aside from treating the actor like he's the character and the insanity of thinking anyone sane would be appreciative of making yourself bleed, isn't the character supposed to be abstaining from human blood? Anyway, point is, Stewart and Pattinson are not happy campers right now. Sure, they're making the money and getting their name out, but the fanbase is Just. That. Insane. When Pattinson is told to never acknowledge people or make eye contact in a crowd for fear of some crazy hormonal adolescent nutcase sparking a riot...Yeah, things are too far and too intense. Well, who knows, maybe they won't make the fourth one and we can be spared Edward using his teeth to do a C-section of Bella when the delivery of their baby goes wrong.

By the way, no, I'm not making that up. Long story short: Bella and Sir Edward the Sparkly get married. They conceive on the honeymoon. The baby, however, is half-vampire and superstrong, so they have to make Bella a vampire just so the growing kid in her doesn't knock a foot out her side when it kicks. The delivery is difficult and thanks to Meyer making the vampires "OMG THEY CAN'T EVAR BE HURT EXCEPT BY EACH OTHER" invulnerable, it falls to Edward to do a C-section using one of the few things capable of breaking vampire skin--vampire teeth. Biting your daughter out of your wife's womb. That's Tru Luv right there, y'all.

Thank you for that very succinct summing up of the fourth book, Breaking Dawn. My two teenage daughters LOVE these Twilight saga books and read them over and over again. I liked the first one, but thought each book went downhill from there. And I thought Breaking Dawn was particularly bad. By the end of the book, I was so tired of Saint Bella and her miraculous shield that I wished with all my hear that Edward had bitten her to death in the first book, or James had gotten her, or the Volturi, or Victoria, or the darn skidding van...I was so sick to death of her...needless to say, my daughters don't agree with me...LOL

Paparazzi are out of control! Just because you are a celebrity doesn't mean that you shouldn't have privacy. NO ONE should be chased like a criminal for photos to sell. When I'm in a place where the paps are dogging celebrities, I leave. It ruins everyone's experience with that place. Do you think the Paps care? Ha!!!
