Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Wife Split After 14 Years
'Saved by the Bell' star Mark-Paul Gosselaar and his wife Lisa Ann Russell have separated after 14 years together.
"They both remain focused on their family and are jointly committed to their children," his rep tells
PEOPLE.
The couple first met after she guest-starred on 'Saved by the Bell: The College Years' and married on August 26, 1996.
The couple have two children together, Michael Charles, 6, and Ava Lorenn, 4.
According to the
NY Daily News, Gosselaar has been staying home to care for the couple's two children while his wife has reportedly been spotted out "partying around L.A."
"He's taking it very hard," the insider tells the paper. "This has been going on for quite some time now."
According to reports, Gosselaar was not on display during a recent night out to promote his new TNT series 'Franklin & Bash.'

I guess he got tired of staying home and taking care of the kids while she went on the party band wagon. I don't think Screech would be the one to get advice from on any issue, didn't he have a sex tape that got out, steamy hot tub scenes, yuk...

It took him 8 years to knock her up? I know some people wait to have kids. Just stirring up the converation. Oldest kid is 6 they have been married 14. DNA test.
I have always thought Mark was hot. He looked good in the nude scenes on NYPD Blue. I worry about the young kids.
I guess he wasn't appreciated.

Yes, he was on NYPD Blue. Recently, he was on a legal show on TNT called Raising The Bar and apparently, he now has a new show with TNT. I believe I read once that he is under contract with them. Also before doing NYPD Blue, he was in several made for TV movies in the 90's.
I've never seen Saved by the Bell, but "yes", he was on NYPD Blue and he was HOT!!!!
Yes. He was very good in "NYPD Blue"; and then he was in "Raising the Bar" on TNT, which was a terrific show that was cancelled way too soon.
Yes, he was on NYPD Blue and Raising the Bar. He also starred in several shows that weren't as successful. People should get their facts straight before they announce a person hasn't done anything in 15 years. He also has spent lots of time with his children. Something that is much more important than how many shows he has starred in.
