Charlie Sheen Not Interested in Ex-Wife Denise Richard's 'Bliss' with Ron Jeremy

Note to anyone wanting to hang out with actor Charlie Sheen: Telling him that you are starring in a movie with his ex-wife Denise Richards is not a great ice breaker.

Especially if you are porn star Ron Jeremy.

Jeremy was pretty excited (if you will) about landing a role with Richards in the mainstream film, 'Finding Bliss' (opening today) and was eager to tell his buddy Sheen when they ran into each other on the red carpet at the Emmys in 2007.

"(Sheen) gave me this big hug on the red carpet," Jeremy tells PopEater, noting that then-girlfriend Brooke Mueller pulled her beau away quickly "like he shouldn't be seen hugging me."

But Jeremy knew that Sheen and Richards had been fans of his memorable stint on 'The Surreal Life' in 2005 when they were a couple -- they had even called to tell him how much he enjoyed the program. Those were distant, happy days.

While friends warned Jeremy not to mention Richards, the famed porn actor couldn't help himself. He took advantage of running into Sheen in the men's room during the awards program to start the conversation again.

"I got him alone in the bathroom, we were both using the sinks," says Jeremy. He happily told Sheen that he was working with Richards, neglecting to inform him of the nature of the film.

"I thought he would get a kick out of it, but he didn't," says Jeremy. "He just gave me this completely blank stare."

Now that's awkward.

At least his experience with Richards was more positive on the film. "She was sweet," says Jeremy.

Ron Jeremy sure knows how to give it to women. I can see why Denise Richards is smiling and Charlie is frowning. Ron always said that having sex with women was like shaking hands. He certainly shook a lot of hands in his younger days. Lucky dude.

Ron Jeremy may have done porn, but he is a lot better human being than Sheen. Ron has a kind spirit, and Sheen likes to beat women up; perplexed as to how that makes SHEEN a "great guy."

I detest the business that Ron is in, but everything I have heard about him seems to point to him actually being a nice guy and I've seen some of his very limited mainstream acting and he's a pretty funny guy. if he hadn't gotten himself mired in porn, he might have had an actual career going for himself instead of being tested for AIDS every 30 days and crossing his fingers.

Actually Ron Jeremy started out as a mainstream actor but couldn't get a lot of work & drifted into porn in the early 70's. There many people in that industry that have talents that go beyond the ones that are on display in their videos.

The whole Sheen clan might be taletend but they are also very trashy. The kind you wouldn't like hanging around your house. The fact that Charlie and Ron are buddies is further proof. I mean, have you ever seen a RJ film? I did, long time ago, and I'm still traumatized. That guy shouldn't be in porn, but in a circus as a contorsionist.

Well, I don't know them personally but what I do know is just because you are an actor (i.e, per other replies re: Martin Sheen) and your family is in that business as well, doesn't make you "acting royalty" or anything else of importance or to be held in esteem for that matter. Who cares if someone is a renowned actor or activist? Why is that something so special. I personally think Martin Sheen is a good actor but so what? I don't agree with his activist politics so not impressed there either. What makes him or his family any better than anyone else? Because they're actors? Jeesh - what sheep you are.
