New Jersey 'Housewife' Teresa Giudice Owes Millions

'Real Housewives of New Jersey' star Teresa Giudice and her husband, Joe, may boast of having big bucks on the Bravo hit, but bankruptcy court records show the pair have nearly $11 million in various debts, the New York Post is reporting.

According to papers filed in Newark federal court, the free-spending Guidice's claim to only make $79,000 a year between the two of them, but are unable to handle the foreclosures and hefty credit card bills.

The court document lists their money woes in detail:

► The bank has moved to foreclose on their $1.8 million home in Towaco, NJ.
► Banks have taken their Jersey Shore house along with another home in Lincoln Park, NJ.
► Teresa owes $12,000 to a fertility clinic.
► They've defaulted on payments for their Escalade.
► Joe personally owes $5 million to former partners of real estate deals.

On 'Housewives,' Giudice once spent $2,000 in a 10-minute shopping spree, but in bankruptcy papers she claims to spend just (!!!) $400 on clothes a month.

The court papers list Joe's monthly income at the stucco and stone company he owes at $3,250. Teresa earns $3,333 from Bravo, and she recently released a cook book, 'Skinny Italian.'

I really like Teresa and her family - I hope this all works out. I agree - Bravo should be paying her a lot - look how much mileage they are getting out of the "table flip".

She really should get residuals on her table flip - they must show it 100 times a day! I love the housewives show. The women are hysterical. I look at it as entertainment. I live in NJ and just across town from Teresa. People only have nice things to say about her. I hope these so called money problems aren't true.

I am so confused about this. OK I get that she spends like the day is long and SPOILES the he ll out of those spoiled children and NOT VERY WELL BEHAVED at that. ( last week when the 3 year old threw all the socks off the rack at the store... I would have knocked her head off ) BUT she has a book on the NY Best sellers list and with the show they have to be doing something right.. Not sure how much of this is true.. Seems odd.

There is something all the time about housewives from the different shows owing money, filing for bankruptcy, or being arrested. When will we learn as a country that people living like this and the banks that allowed it is half the reason we are in the mess we are in now!!! Just remember, generally speaking, that the people who put it out there that they have money, tend to be the ones who don't!!

It is called Living Beyond your Means. They showed her building a tacky mostly marble mansion. If you are not making enough,you don't spend like that. Guess you have to have brains to figure that out! This is the second worst Houswives show. Atlanta is the worst. I would rather watch Law and Order reruns for the 13th time.
