Sandra Bullock Makes Appearance at 'Guys' Award

With Sandra Bullock set to make her first public appearance tonight at the MTV Movie Awards since the cheating scandal that led to her divorcing husband Jesse James, the actress came out for another awards show last night ... only it won't air until June 20.
Snagging the 'Troops Choice' Award (voted on by the military) for Entertainer of the Year at the Spike TV 'Guys Choice Awards,' Bullock took the stage and joked: "Did I win this for being entertainer of the year, or did I win this because of the spectacular I.E.D. [improvised explosive device] explosion that became my personal life?!"
PEOPLE reports that Bullock, sporting a tight black leather dress, continued by saying she "would do it over again if it was to entertain our troops, and our extraordinary troops deserve something much more than some actress in a tight dress talking herself."
The dress jokes continued, saying that she would dance to entertain the troops, but the form-fitting get-up wouldn't allow for too much movement.
According to PEOPLE, even the show's staff had no idea Bullock was going to appear.

Good for her! She looks great. I've always liked her for not taking herself too seriously.

She actually graced the awards with her presence ? How benevolent of her .
Spike T.V. is a mans channel. Nobody gives a damb about silly gossip and scandals. And by the way, is Sandra Bullock going to be getting every award now because everybody feels sorry for her. Now that is just pathetic.
I agree she looks great and she is in her mid 40's. Awesome!

With all due respect, their is an oil disaster crisis destroying nature, ways of life and the health of thousands...I couldn't give a flying f**k about Sandra Bullock or this pity party campaign she is currently on! Surprise surprise.....there is actually something more important than self indulgent, ego maniacs and their worthless superficial lives.

you dont care about news on celebrities, yet you read it and responded. We are all aware of the disaters in the world, and we all help the best we can. But we need to balance the negative with something a bit lighter on our hearts.
And with 'all due respect', Denirofan - yes, that is one of the many major crises going on at this point in our lives; however, it IS nice once in awhile to read something a little light-hearted too.
So - give your soapbox a rest.
You are one rude son of a gun. This award had absolutely NOTHING to do with the oil spill, yes...it's on all our minds. Who the heck are YOU to label anyone "superifcial and worthless"? You trying to bring your own "s&w" up a few notches? Keep you mega negative remarks on topic.
You don't care....yet you are here replying??? Go figure!!
Tell me Mr. Mouth, what are you doing to stop the oil spill that is destroying our environment and marine life? Huh? No answer? I thought so. All talk with nothing to back it up.
With all due respect, if you want to read about world/top news, go to that instead of Entertainment News. The Oil Spill is all over the news. If ya don't want to read about Sandra, simply DO NOT click on the site!
Because there is such catastophic things happening in our world, it is nice to have a little relief. Perhaps seeing Ms. Bullock looking so great and carrying on after her personal mess, gives us a little smile. Personally a need a little something to smile about. Lighten up.
People like you make me glad I had the good sense NOT TO MAKE ANY CHILDREN,AND THUS ADD TO YOUR NUMBER! THAT'S WHAT I DO FOR SOCIETY. HELP TO KEEP THE POPULATION DOWN,SO THAT GENETIC MISTAKES LIKE YOU DON'T HAPPEN QUITE SO MUCH. I hope you realize that by making your statement on this post, you are displaying just as much egotism as Spencer & Heidi,Jon & Kate, and all the OTHER bogus celebs you claim to hate and despise. This society that you claim to care so much about will function much more efficiently and be much better off when you and your kind are wiped out of existence. I'd like to hear your response to THIS,Denirofan.
While what you say about the oil disaster may be true when people go through a personal and public trauma like Sandra did you are devastated. So if an award show wants to have her on lighten up and give the girl a break. By the way, did you know Sandra and her husband we in the process of adopting a child. So now we have another child that will be without a live in father. Congratuations, Sandra.
what did she do ? take your party away from you?a###hole
My question to you, Denirofan, is why are you reading the article and not doing some volunteer work in LA., AL, MS instead of sitting on your butt reading an article you are against? Yes I did volunteer in Mississippi, because I care not not so I can be so bitter about but won't help out for a minute!!!!! Yes, we know there is the biggest oil spill catastrophe in the Gulf of Mexico. We also know that much of our wildlife and marine life like Brown Pelicans and Dolphins are dying from being covered inside and out. Yes inside too from eating the oiled fish who are also covered inside and out.
Jeremy
Thank you for not multiplying...........You obviously do not have what it takes to have a child and mold it into a wonderful, thoughtful human being....Genetic mistake.........Your parents should have had your thoughts.
Yes we care about disasters, all of them...even you. Glad for Bullock. Life goes on.
Denirofan: Do you watch TV, or do you go to movies? Or, does your entertainment remain strickly confined to gazing out your window at all the loser in the world. Not everyone in Hollywierd is on an ego trip, or begging for sympathy. They aren't all superficial. She didn't ask for the publicity. Quite the contrary. She hid from it, and has remained very silent about what she's gone through. I haven't seen her milking the publicity for whatever she can get out of it. I fear your barbed words for someone you don't even know will hurt you in the long run much worse than it hurts her.
Are we just supposed to dwell on the terrible things that we have absolutely no control over. We all know that it's an extremely destructive disaster and it will have long term effects but I'll be darned if I'm ready to put the gun to my head over it and quit looking for a little good news elsewhere.
Denirofan, while what you say about the oil disaster may be true, when people go through a personal and public trauma like Sandra did you are devastated. So if an award show wants to have her as a guest, lighten up and give the girl a break. By the way, did you know that Sandra and her husband were in the process of adopting a child. So now we have another child growing up without a live in father. Congratulations Sandra!!!
