Gary Coleman's Ex-Wife Denies Hurting Actor

Gary Colemen's ex-wife says she didn't cause her husband's fatal fall, despite reports that she hurt him. In a new interview, she emphasized that she "would take my own life before I would ever, ever harm him."

A wheel-chair bound Shannon Price talked with 'Good Morning America' about the accident that lead to the 'Diff'rent Strokes' star's death.

"I asked him if he could make me some food. He went down there and I heard this big smack. I went down there and found him in a pool of blood," she described.

"People can say whatever they want. I know the truth. I would never hurt my husband, ever," she added.

The 911 call Price made after the fall was recently released, and on it, it is clear that the 24-year-old was reluctant to help Coleman.

But she defended her actions on 'GMA.' "I was with him down there the whole time. Seeing him in a pool of blood was difficult. If it was someone else in my situation, I am sure they wouldn't know what to do either."

During her appearance, she also claimed she nearly suffered a seizure and had to stop talking, and revealed that although they divorced in 2008, just short of their one-year wedding anniversary, the two planned to re-marry, but health concerns forced them to wait.

As for her feud with Coleman's parents, which caused his funeral to be postponed, Shannon explained, "My brother called them and talked to the mother and said, 'If you have any questions let me know.' She didn't have anything to say."

Price is ill and struggling with Gary's death. "I have had a lot of health issues. I have seizures, I have anxiety. I miss my husband a lot. I can barely get around. It's been a trial."

The former child actor suffered a brain hemorrhage and was taken off life support by Price on May 28. Although they were unmarried at the time, Coleman signed a release granting his ex the right to make medical decisions on his behalf.

This so called Person, never did have Feelings for Gary, She never ever showed any emotion, in his life, near death n In death.I seen she can walk... n she also stated she ran down to see how he was..shes so phoney...we hope she will be famous soon..Only in prison! Oh and Notice.. she mainly talked of her health..had to beleive...when a serious event as that would happen to anyone.. thinking of urself is the last thought!!

I totally think this B killed Gary. The falling down the stairs, cremation, and rush to pull the plug all look VERY suspicious, so I hope the police are investigating the hell out of her.

I hear absolutely no sorrow in her voice at all about his death, and the way she referred to his mom as "the mother" was cold and vicious. My wife would never, ever talk in such a disrespectful way about my mother, even if I was estranged from her. It's very shameful. I also want to know how she talked Gary into signing that release.

She is pathetic , full of excuses. To say seizure disorder stopped her from helping her dieing ex husband.
She is looking for pity saying she has a seizure disorder, which after watching that interview I question if she does .
If she been having them for two months , she would be on meds.
Those meds slow your brain down alot the first few months you take them. You walk around like a zombie.

This should be about him, a child actor who lost his life, not her talking about how this affect her, his life is over, he spills blood in the kitchen and she worries about herself.
If she did cause his death, I hope she pays for it.
If she didn't I hope tv and news shows stop interviewing her and she can go back to her Pathetic so called life.

I rememeber seeing them on Judge toler show( i think thats her name) its a divoce court show and he wanted to deviorce her cause he said he cant make enough money to take care of her and that they never had sex...He said she use to weigh like 300lbs but he encouraged her to lose the weight but I think she had surgery..you can tell just look at her......ick!!!
