'Housewives' Star Jill Zarin Contacts Authorities Following Hater Threats

Over the weekend, Jill Zarin was forced to contact authorities after her family was "harassed and threatened" by haters after someone posted her address online and told people to send her threatening mail. The 'Real Housewives of New York City' star vented to her fans on Facebook -- upset about the ordeal.

"We are being harassed and threatened by a family from Chicago and Alabama. We have contacted authorities. I will block anyone who is linked to them per postal service law enforcement until they finish investigation. This is a serious crime and all evidence has been handed over. If you are involved in anyway. I suggest you stop. Enough is enough. It is NOT funny or a joke," Zarin wrote on her official Facebook page.

The threats apparently came after a recently-aired episode of the Bravo reality show, as some viewers were angered by the way Zarin handled her drama with co-star Bethenny Frankel. On the finale of 'Housewives,' she and Frankel discuss their fight, which has become "totally berserk."

"What the hell happened to us?" she asks her pal over lunch. "I feel like we were married and then we separated, and I don't want to be separated."

Frankel tells Zarin that she's been "disloyal" and that she's been "killed by this."

"I don't know how to build a relationship in the future because I am so damaged by this relationship," she says. "It's like a divorce."

Zarin later posted another message on Facebook, admitting, "I will not tolerate haters on my Facebook and Twitter accounts anymore. The show is now OVER. I will be blocking anyone following the serious haters as well. Dina gave me good advice. You know who I mean. Haters come with being a celebrity. We all have them, but I will do my best to block them and their followers. Peace and Love. Not hate," she wrote.

It does not suprise me how many idiots out there get wrapped up in this staged drama and nonsense. Reality TV is giving fame and fortune to no talent trash like this lady and contributing to the dumbing down of our society.Great message this crap sends to our youth.

Honestly My footie pajamas this is suppose to get better ratings for the show ? In what world do you live in ? I know exactly how Jill feels and it's a scary place to be. Even though the show depicted Jill as the villian this season, she is the same Jill as she was in season 1 and 2. It seems like everyone who watches this show and the other housewife shows think they have personal relationships with these women. I watch them for entertainment purpose's only and can be rational in knowing this is just a show not real life ! I hope whoever it is that is threatening Jill is caught, NO ONE deserves to have their lives threatened NO ONE !

I did see part of that episode and I could not stand Jill. She was SO rude to Bethanny. Also, why can't these ladies wear clothes that are more for their age instead of trying to look like hoochy mama's and hookers.

You are not a celebrity. You're exactly what the title of this show is regardless of how much money you have - a housewife. A bored housewife at that who sure can dish it out but can't take it. You are so mean, so rude, such a drama queen because there's nothing substantial in your life. Twitter, facebook all so your 'fans' can know every moment of your boring day? I don't know but if people were threatening me and I had as much money as she does, I would get off that show asap.

I feel sorry for all the Housewives. Its obvious that the network picks the same type of person to fill these roles. They are all shallow and self inportant, they spend money they dont have and try to make us all live that lifestyle. Most of them will be broke in 5 years

How about a new reality show for these hard economic times..."The Real Housewives of Recession." It could feature the "real" women of America trying to keep their houses, feed their children, and pay their bills.

This week on "The Real Housewives of Recession"...

Watch as the ladies spend hours on the phone with their banks applying for mortgage relief. Sparks fly between Jane and John when the electricity gets turned off. Will Sue and Steve's marriage end when Steve doesn't get an extension on his unemployment? Lisa takes to the corner to beg when her application for food stamps is denied.
