Over the weekend, Jill Zarin was forced to contact authorities after her family was "harassed and threatened" by haters after someone posted her address online and told people to send her threatening mail. The 'Real Housewives of New York City' star vented to her fans on Facebook -- upset about the ordeal. "We are being harassed and threatened by a family from Chicago and Alabama. We have contacted authorities. I will block anyone who is linked to them per postal service law enforcement until they finish investigation. This is a serious crime and all evidence has been handed over. If you are involved in anyway. I suggest you stop. Enough is enough. It is NOT funny or a joke," Zarin wrote on her official Facebook page.

You might want to ask Bravo and other producers of this type of show why these shows exist. Do you think they are made with only good intentions in mind? No, they thrive on getting people worked up over this crap.

"She's now famouus". Really?? In her own mind Jill may be famous, but to most of the intelligent people I don't think so.
My favorite housewife has been Jill, though I didn't see the controversial episode. The other NY housewives seem self-absorbed to me. I haven't watched recently. The episode that turned me off was the one at Hope Lodge. My daughter and I stayed there when she was going through treatment for esophageal cancer. The Lodge was then and I hope now a place of safety and peace and to hear the housewives--Ramona and LuAnn, I think--bicker and scuffle over NOTHING was personally painful and disrespectful of Hope Lodge. I hope they are never invited back. My daughter died recently and I've realized that the lives of these women are hopelessly shallow, and I am now unable to tolerate their hurtful behavior to one another and to others.

Jill, she has received everything she asked for. I am appauled at her lack of evolvement as a human being. She basically, for no reason, told Bethany to hit the road and get lost and never speak to her again and was childish about the whole thing. Now that she gets what she asked for, she cries. She is not a loyal person or friend- and i would not want her in my life either. She is a horrible person and friend.

On a recent "Watch What's Happening" (or whatever the heck the name of that Bravo program is), I think guest Jerry Seinfeld said it best when asked about the Real Housewives of NY: "Who wants to stick their head in this toilet?"
What started out as kind of a cute reality series has turned into a human train-wreck. Count me out--I've seen enough.

I watched that show when they kicked that woman out of their vacation and that Alex woman was shaking like she had something wrong with her, these woman are like totally nutso, bunch of weirdos!

At least the NY housewives are more intersting and likeable than the OC, or even more so those trashy NJ Housewives.......absolute trash and the one who got is trouble with the law.....the least trashy ladies!!! The table tippy stage mother dumba_ _, it the worst from the collective shows.
Back to Jill, she is selfish and mean-spirited, and she does need to take a closer look at herself. I can't believe she wrote an advice book....she knows nothing about retlationships and loving kindness. She needs a good shrink, not one who tells her what she wants to hear. She needs a spiritual guide. She needs to go down to the local soup kitchen and work once a week and she needs to do other things for people that do not involve putting on big parties and advertising her store products. She needs a some humility.

Jane L, you are so right. HWOC are extremely pretentious, and boring individuals. The only one that i like is Gretchen, and most of the time i feel sorry for her because she has to put up them.
Jill, of HWNY is a manipulative BI, who doesn't want to face her own insecurities and has the audacity to talk about others. Her husband is a lapdog, Kelly (whom i can guarantee is on drugs)is a dingbat, and Luann still wants to be Countess. Bethenny was right to tell Jill to get a life, and i too was glad when they kicked her off the island.
I would never condone this behavior but neither do I condone yours either Jill. Get a mirror if you want to see a hater.
