'Housewives' Star Jill Zarin Contacts Authorities Following Hater Threats

Over the weekend, Jill Zarin was forced to contact authorities after her family was "harassed and threatened" by haters after someone posted her address online and told people to send her threatening mail. The 'Real Housewives of New York City' star vented to her fans on Facebook -- upset about the ordeal.

"We are being harassed and threatened by a family from Chicago and Alabama. We have contacted authorities. I will block anyone who is linked to them per postal service law enforcement until they finish investigation. This is a serious crime and all evidence has been handed over. If you are involved in anyway. I suggest you stop. Enough is enough. It is NOT funny or a joke," Zarin wrote on her official Facebook page.

The threats apparently came after a recently-aired episode of the Bravo reality show, as some viewers were angered by the way Zarin handled her drama with co-star Bethenny Frankel. On the finale of 'Housewives,' she and Frankel discuss their fight, which has become "totally berserk."

"What the hell happened to us?" she asks her pal over lunch. "I feel like we were married and then we separated, and I don't want to be separated."

Frankel tells Zarin that she's been "disloyal" and that she's been "killed by this."

"I don't know how to build a relationship in the future because I am so damaged by this relationship," she says. "It's like a divorce."

Zarin later posted another message on Facebook, admitting, "I will not tolerate haters on my Facebook and Twitter accounts anymore. The show is now OVER. I will be blocking anyone following the serious haters as well. Dina gave me good advice. You know who I mean. Haters come with being a celebrity. We all have them, but I will do my best to block them and their followers. Peace and Love. Not hate," she wrote.

Honestly My footie pajamas this is suppose to get better ratings for the show ? In what world do you live in ? I know exactly how Jill feels and it's a scary place to be. Even though the show depicted Jill as the villian this season, she is the same Jill as she was in season 1 and 2. It seems like everyone who watches this show and the other housewife shows think they have personal relationships with these women. I watch them for entertainment purpose's only and can be rational in knowing this is just a show not real life ! I hope whoever it is that is threatening Jill is caught, NO ONE deserves to have their lives threatened NO ONE !

This from the number one drama queen on the show. Sorry Jill I liked you on the first season but after this season the real drama queen came out and I would not be one bit surprised if you didn't post the hate stuff to draw attention to yourself or make others feel sorry for you. As for the drama between Bethanny and Jill, Jill had her chance to correct the problem and Jill refused to listen to her, I don't blame Bethanny one bit for not wanting to be friends with Jill, Jill blew it.

More insipid trash about semi-intelligent bimbos and their so-called real lives. I don't watch the shows, since I enjoy my reality and all its real drama rather than their for-the-camera developed reality that makes them all look like self-centered pretentious twits.

I'm glad Bethany broke away from all them other nut jobs and will have her own show.I think the NYC housewives show sucks!!

Danielle is another sick puppy. She is having her jail friends cause trouble. I wouldn't be surprised if someone actually gets killed on these shows. I'm asking you to please stop the monkey business. Nothing wrong with her jail friends.....they shouldn't listen to her and her paranoid self. Nobody is going to bother her. God help these people.

I find it amazing that 1) someone takes such STUPID IGNORANT shows seriously 2)thinks that because the call it a "reality" show there is some reality there and 3) these idiots who threatened them had nothing better to do? Please people, if you want to make a difference, then sue TV execs for false advertising on each and every "reality" show. The only thing "real" about all of them are that is alot cheaper to film, which saves money for the execs.

This is what happens when you put your life, and your family on television for all to see and judge. If you don't like it, stay away from the camera's. But I am sure ALL of the housewives agreed to it to further their business endeveours. You make your bed, now lay in it.

truthfully, I hated these shows until I had an injury that forced me to lay here for 6 wks. They kept me going as I LAUGHED so hard at all of them, kept me from depression..
Jill, is a mean woman..wouldn't make up or talk to Bethany when she tried to reach out..of course if LuAnn wouldn't have kept butting in they may have... LuAnn interups everyone & that drives ya nutts(rude).... was glad Sonja told her to STOP so she could speak un-interupted..SHUTUP LAnn!!!
Then Alex tried to approach Jill who being Jill did like she did to Bethany snubbed her too...should've LISTENED & MADE UP WITH ALEX..
Kelly..obsessed with Bethany..serious mental issues... but definitly obsessed with Bethany..wrong 1 to mess with Kelly..get help girl..

I agree 100% - even watching older episodes it was always about Beth- she can forgive Ramona for worse, Alex can forgive Ramona for the hateful things she said and did for 2 seasons, Alex was the boring castmate so this year she alligned herself with Beth to stay on the show. Beth , Alex, Ramona are all just as mean as any of the other women, Bethenny started this season full on with attacks- if Alex doesn't see that as Mean then she is blind. Bethenny plays the victim and the mean girl - she has serious issues.
Granted Jill has made mistakes - but Beth is user and is delusional about her "fame" .
