Video: New Dance Song Phil Spector Produced for Wife

Before beginning a 19-year prison sentence for murdering actress Lana Clarkson, Phil Spector, 70, produced his first album in three decades -- 'Out of My Chelle,' the debut from his wife, Rachelle, 29. The disc joins Spector's celebrated catalog, which includes classics like the Beatles' 'Let It Be,' The Ronettes' self-titled release, Ike and Tina Turner's 'River Deep, Mountain High' and a co-production credit on John Lennon's 'Imagine.'

"She's fantastic on this album," Spector says of his wife (on her website). "She sings better than anyone else could have! I trusted her with my life and songs and production -- because she's that good." Check out the video for Rachelle Spector's new track, 'Here in My Heart':

"It has special meaning for me," Rachelle says of the new track. "Like the lyric says, 'No matter where you are, you're here in my heart.' For the time being, of course, Philip is actually far away. But he's still the shining light in my life, and I can always feel him here with me."

Spector married Rachelle, his fourth wife, three years after the 2003 Clarkson shooting. The couple worked on Mrs. Spector's album for more than two years between his first trial, which ended in mistrial in 2007, and his second, which ended in conviction a year ago.

"It was fun," Mrs. Spector told the LA Times of the recording sessions with her husband. "It was his outlet. It was his escape back to his roots."

Rachelle's record will feature a mainstream, adult pop sensibility rather than Spector's trademark 'Wall of Sound' technique heard on songs like 'Be My Baby' and 'You've Lost That Loving Feeling.' The last major album he solo-produced was 1980's 'End of the Century' by the Ramones.

"The pop album's 10 tracks contain elements of rock, R&B and dance. The songs, whose writers aren't credited on the disc, were acquired by Phil Spector for an unrelated project years ago," USA Today reports.

What a piece of crap, the song blows, the singing is 3rd rate and the production is amaturish at best. If Spector did not go to jail for killing someone he would have for this piece of s**t!!

I keep seeing this female dancing outside the courthouse when Phil's first trial ended in a hung jury. She was totally inappropriate. Anyway, what a BS song, BS video. She's been sleeping with that murderous wig-wearing troll she's married to for THIS? Pathetic women like this thing always slink away. Slither away, "girl," YOU SUCK.

This is pathetic and a sham, just like the marriage. Spector is right where he belongs and the Mrs., will go away soon, just as soon as she realizes her career is for naught.

The state should not have allowed this murderer, to make any kind of money what so ever. This is ridiculous !!!
The loser killed someone, and hes allowed to still work in prison? The man should be in a cell,, 23 hours a day.
Who ever is allowing this to happen, needs some education. Or a huge hit to their back side.
And the song is horrible, at best.
