Sandra Bullock Is Overcome With Emotion Backstage at MTV Awards
Sandra Bullock kept her emotions under control while onstage at the MTV Movie Awards, making jokes about the high cost of therapy, kissing Scarlett Johansson in one of the night's most talked about moments and telling everyone it was time to get back to normal.
Backstage, however, it was another story. Bullock was very emotional.
"This was such an important night for Sandy," a friend of the Oscar-winning actress told me. "She knew the eyes of the world would be looking at her, and she was determined to get through the evening without any tears, at least in public. What has happened to her is truly awful, but Sandra wants to move on. She refuses to play the victim and hates how everyone backstage was whispering whenever she walked by."
I have seen firsthand how people backstage usually treat Sandra. From other celebrities or lighting guys she has worked with to hair and makeup people she knows, everyone greets Sandra with a hug or a "Hi, Bullock." Sources tell me this wasn't the case last night. "Everyone was a little awkward, almost avoiding Sandra so they didn't say anything wrong," someone backstage said. "This is what made Sandra so emotional backstage."
Don't worry, Sandy! The hardest step -- the first one -- is now over, and it won't be long before casts, crews and even the public start laughing with you again.

God bless Sandra and all she does.
I am not against a good F-Bomb here and there, but it almost got borderline annoying with how many times it was blurted out last night on the show. Half of the show, was "bleep, bleep and the award goes to bleep for the movie bleep".... Again, don't get me wrong, YES, it's a fun word to use and say, but sometimes, less is more.

Could not agree more; the f word was way overused. It doesn't take super powers to use that word, the bleeps became irritating.
THE KISS THING HAS ALREADY BEEN DONE,REMEMBER MADONNA,BRITNEY AND CHRISTINA,POLLOCK JUST WANTED ATTENTION,AS USUAL.

Pollock?!?! How can you live anywhere on this planet and not know how to spell her last name...it's in the article above you!!! And I agree with a previous poster...people are now talking about the kiss, and not about her split. She's taking control of her life - I'd say its genius!
I feel so so so bad for her. She is the same Sandy and she didn't do anything to deserve Jesse's a**hole actions, but with all that's gone on in the media, this private person's life all of a sudden became public domain. She wants things to go back to normal, but I understand why some people may be hesitant as to what to say to her. They're not sure if making a joke would be ok, or if sympathizing would be too much (if she doesn't want to talk about it). This article makes me so sad though!!

I think Sandra would rather people be talking about this then about Jesse and her personal life.

She was not stupid, she was in love...and she is going on with her life...with help from her family and friends.
