Kim Kardashian May Be the Next Lara Croft (Plus Five Dream Roles for Her)

Angelina Jolie's role as buxom 'Tomb Raider' vixen Lara Croft. Hollywood insiders tell
Showbiz Spy, Kardashian's interpretation of the action hero role would be "very different" from Jolie's. "Kim is wanted to play a far more comic-strip version of Lara, which would be shot in 3-D and aimed at a teen audience."
The franchise's feature debut, 2001's 'Lara Croft: Tomb Raider,' was Jolie's international breakthrough, giving her a box office mega-hit and a sexy character (with a massive built-in fanbase) to hang her hat on. Long story short? 'Tomb Raider' would likely be a game-changer for the already ubiquitous Kardashian.

Kim has expressed interest in acting before, gracing the small screen for a 2009 episode of 'CSI: NY.' The 29-year-old model/reality star/fashion mogul/Twittermeister was reported in December as
saying, "I would love to do more acting. I have so much going on, but acting is definitely exciting to me. I'm hoping to do more TV and I would really love to make movies."
A source told
Showbiz Spy that Kim has been taking acting classes for a while. "She gets scripts sent to her all the time, but unlike so many other famous people, she doesn't just want to make a film without first learning the craft."
Five Roles We'd Love Kim Kardashian to Play:
1. Catwoman. The idea's been in our heads since she wore a catsuit and posed with a kitten. Meow!
2. A Bond girl. Soon, please, while Daniel Craig is rocking the role? She might give Ursula Andress' Honey Ryder from 1962's 'Dr. No' a run for her money.
3. Jessica Rabbit. A little hair coloration and a shiny red dress and she's the perfect live-action embodiment.
4. Jayne Mansfield. A modern bombshell plays a classic bombshell. It's simple arithmetic.
5. The lead in a 'Baywatch' reboot. We will not dignify this with an explanation.

I don't believe it. Can Kim Kardashian even jog? I watched the first Tomb Raider movie and I have to say- the only thing I remember from that movie that Kardashian could have done was walk down those stairs in that white dress. She has her place in this ridiculous culture we live in. Live action hero? Not it.

Lara Croft, please! The only person to play that part is Jolie. She was perfect for the part. Kim is a joke. The only thing she has going for her is her looks and she should stay with modeling. I don't see what the big draw to her and her sisters are anyway. Twits with tah tahs, thats about it.

I would love to see her play Lara Croft. Kim is very beautiful but how will she ever get that tiny little waist like Lara? You almost have to be a stunt woman to play that role but good luck to her if she gets the part. I buy every Tomb Raider movie no matter who stars in it.
