The alcohol-monitoring bracelet fitted around Lindsay Lohan's ankle went off Sunday evening at an awards show after-party, and if is determined there was alcohol in her system, the beleaguered actress could face jail time.According to various reports, Lohan's SCRAM device was triggered during an MTV Movie Awards party. Whether she was actually drinking or the device was tampered with is unclear, but a source inside the company that makes SCRAM tells the New York Daily News that it "was not a mistake or malfunction."
The company, Alcohol Monitoring Systems, now must send their report to Judge Marsha Revel, and depending on its findings, may compel the court to order Lohan to appear -- where she could be slapped with 180 days in jail.

she has had plenty off chances to get straight. The only place she needs to be is a jail. She needs to dry out and get a reality check. And after jail she needs to go straight to a live in rehab for at least 6 months to a year. All i can say is that she must have a really good lawyer cause anyone else would have been locked up.

Everyone needs to get a life and leave Lindsey alone. She's acting like a normal young woman in her young 20's! The fact that she is constantly in the public eye is what's hurting her. They are trying to teach a lesson out of her. She looked absolutely gorgous at the MTV awards! Lindsey, don't let all the negativity around you bring you down! She is not acting like any other 20 year old - she put herself in the limelight and as a role model to others. The decisions she has made are self destructive and she should be punished like 'any other 20 year old' and not let her status be a factor. Her inability to follow the law (as well as any rules people put forth in front of her...be it her employers, even her 'yes' crew) shows that she is immature and unable to make wise decisions for herself!
Send her to jail 4 life! She apparently hasn't learned her lesson in anything. All she cares about is herself. She doesn't even know the definition of law and rules. I blame her parents as well but as an young adult, she should know whats right and whats wrong. The only thing good about Lindsay is that she doesn't have any kids. Thank God for that!
