Stephen Baldwin is not exactly the first name that comes to mind when the subject of environmentalism or oil spill management is mentioned. Baldwin, who aligns himself as a fairly staunch conservative and a born-again Christian, is directing and producing a documentary on the Gulf oil spill called 'The Will to Drill.' Baldwin, as he mentions, became interested in the project after visiting Louisiana and witnessing how much worse the devastation is than he believes is being reported. In a pretty open conversation (warning: some political discussions lay ahead, including Sarah Palin's accusations that "extreme greenies" are to blame for the spill), Baldwin discusses the advances made in oil cleanup by, of all people, Kevin Costner, the "knee-jerk" politics involved in a situation this massive and what he hopes to accomplish with his documentary.
