Everybody is afraid of something. Be it spiders or heights or those terrifying worm-like things with the thousands of legs During a promotional interview with her 'Grown Ups' co-stars Mario Bello and Maya Rudolph, Hayek loses it when a sneaky snake slithers onto the scene of an outdoor interview with 'Extra.' Screaming, the Oscar-nominated actress jumps on top of her chair then onto the arm of Rudolph's. We're especially impressed that she does it all -- without losing her balance! -- in a pair of extremely high heels. Video below:

OMG! What a riot! Nice that they trampled the gal far left hey? It's good she didn't freak cuz they'd've gone "plop" over the guard rail. Selma, Darlink, it's OK! The snake wasn't interested in you or your friends. If it was they'd be digging its' fangs out of your ankle. Rule#1 You cannot outrun a snake. Rule#1a the striking distance of an ordinary snake is approximately equal to plus 18 inches of it's "stance". Rule#1b SIDESTEP, girl, sidestep! Rule#1c I haven't a clue how fast or far a Python can travel or stike. Sadly you're on your own if you do meet up with one. But..this time, you did good, Miha, you did good.

Makes one wonder how Salma was able to do a snake dance (as a stripper) with a yellow boa in "From Dusk Till Dawn"

she had a snake with her in that scene? LOL I hadn't noticed
How in the world did Salma Hayek danced with a Huge Python snake in the movie "From Dusk til Dawn" when she is afraid of them. Was this just a publicity stunt? Or just a chance to show off her awesome heels! lol

Wow...wow. She balanced on the arm of a director's chair in those super-high heels. Amazing. It seems like she gets hotter every year.
Maria Bello was laughing even while yelling. Tough gal.

well easy to see that she would not hesitate to hurt you to save herself, that's more than evident. Just ridiculous that people act like this.

Looks like a highly rehearsed publictitties stunt

LMAO!!! But, Selma...I feel you, girl! I would've sent everyone over the rail with me!

I have been in the room with someone when they had a panic attack from a snake. Its pretty scary for them. I felt bad for poor Selma, and I'm sure she is mortified that this video is circulating the internet.
I was thinking in Dusk Till Dawn, she may have hated it, but it was work, and a "controlled" environment while filming so she dealt. I know she is a great actress, but I don't think thats a staged thing.
