Shia LaBeouf Swipes Paparazzo's Camera

Shia LaBeouf was caught red handed when he tried to remove camera equipment from a X17 paparazzo's car in Hollywood on Wednesday afternoon, according to X17 Online. The 'Transformers' star reportedly saw the paparazzi swarming outside of his house and decided the only way to keep them from snapping photos was to take the cameras out of the equation. He helped himself to the equipment and reportedly returned to his residence to call the police. Police eventually had LaBeouf give up the camera and didn't arrest him.

"We handle each incident on a case-by-case basis," an unnamed official told X17 Online.

Of course, LaBeouf has had a few run-ins with the paparazzi in the past and has stated how much he hates his privacy being invaded. In April, Pacific Coast News reported that LaBeouf got into an altercation with a photographer while he was filling up his truck at a gas station.

After realizing he was being photographed, he charged a photographer and allegedly said, "If you follow me all day, I am going to f**k you up."

Why do they even bother to call the police to these so called celebrities? They never charge them with anything, look at Lindsey Lohan, put a bracelet on her she violated it, they put out a warrant for her then it was dismissed, do you really think that would happen to any of us "real people" Hell NO, WE WOULD BE UNDER THE JAIL, SEEN IT HAPPEN WHEN WORKED IN A LAW OFFICE, MANY TIMES

The reason the paparazzi are even after Shia is because he has a history of this type of reaction. The more they can get his goat, the more they will hound him. If he were to stop -- like cold turkey stop -- reacting violently, they will step up their pursuit until either he goes back to erupting or else he proves to them that he will not.

if you are an actor and the pa-pa-pa-ratzeee would not leave you alone, you would go crazy, too. its like that other girl in twighlite with the sleepy eyes. if actors don't like to be on the spotlight QUIT ACTING! stupid.

Okay, unfair, really. Just because you're an actor does not mean the public "owns" you or that you have no right to go throughout your day without the whole world getting "sneak peaks". Just HOPING they'll get a shot of you scratching your butt or picking your nose, or humping your wife in the backyard...

GOOD for him...if more people did what he did then MAYBE the pap. would stop hown dogging them. Yes they are actors, but they are people first and this is criminal to stalk a person just because they want to make a buck for a stupid pic. I personaly think ALL pap's. should be thrown in jail and leave the actors alone.

Hey Trish nothing will change until bored homemakers and teen girls stop buying up all the rags that they can get their gossipy little hands on...It is my opinion that it is the females of the world that drives sales of these rags... so get your gender to stop buying and then the paparazzi will not have a place to market their wares...

I don't think he was in the wrong. The only way to treat animals is to do what they do back. they invaded his privacy so him going in and taking a camera is his way of giving it back. Just because someone wants to be an actor doesn't automatically mean he wants to be followed every minute of everyday. The Papanazi's should understand that. I think that any star should lash back at them. Instead of "sucking up" or "taking it like a star" they should be as relentless as the stalker's are.

If you hate him so much, then stop reading into his stories. Then they will stop taking pictures of him & following & stalking him, because they will realize that nobody cares and he will be a has been just like everyone wants. I personally like the kid, he is talented. I don't believe that because people want to make movies that they have to enjoy being photographed all the time. It's one thing to take a few pictures. But these people were outside of his HOME. Leave him alone. Take your pics when he's out, and move on. But these paps push the stars buttons just to see them snap so that they can have a big story about how the actor attacked them. Please. Take your pics, and move on. Don't stalk, don't hang out infront of homes, or climb over fences to take pictures of their family in the back yard. Thats ridiculous. I feel sorry for the stars. They are doing their job. They make their movies, they sign their autographs, they smile for the camera. Does not mean that they want every second of their life to be under a microscope. Give them some privacy.

i disagree any star should have a bit of respect .if you asked any most would be happy to set up a interview what ever.following them on a death watch is low. i see it on the news it angers me. no one need that.if it was reversed the media would say leave her/him alone or dont tak to me now.nothing i hate more is to hear over an over we have a dead baby hear just listen to what the father says about it shameful
