Jodie Foster Accused of Battery by 17-Year-Old Boy

Academy Award-winning actress Jodie Foster has been accused of battery by a 17-year-old boy after an incident in the parking lot of a Los Angeles-area shopping mall, according to RadarOnline.com. However, the actress's rep tells PEOPLE that the accusations are a "fabrication."

The incident occurred on May 29 at the Grove shopping complex. According to the police report, the boy spotted Foster in the valet parking area and approached her to take a picture. The police report was filed after the incident and officers did not report to the scene.

Describing the incident to Radar, the boy's father said, "Jodie pushed and shoved him leaving scratches and bruises on his arm ... She came after him, poked him in the chest and said, 'Do you even have a mother you slime ball?' He didn't mouth back at all and was scared of her."

However, the actress's rep tells another story. "This guy was most definitely a professional paparazzo," says the rep. "He had a large camera bag and 1000mm telephoto lens. He tailed Jodie and followed her all the way from the movie theater to the valet."

"He crowded her and her two young children and took photos of them the whole time," adds the rep, noting that the actress approached the boy and asked him to stop.

Foster, who is notoriously protective of her private life, was at the Grove seeing a movie with her two sons, Charles, 11, and Christopher, 8. The victim's father believes the actress's reaction was an attempt to protect her sons, but believes she overreacted. "My wife is furious that while Jodie was trying to protect her children, she wasn't there to protect her son," he told Radar.

"At one point Jodie's son even came over to my son and apologized. Her kids were really embarrassed," he added.

The boy was apparently a fan of the 'Panic Room' star; however, he isn't feeling the love anymore. "This left a really bad impression on my son about her. He used to be a big fan and now he has a bad taste in his mouth. He's a good kid; kind of small for his age. There was no threat to Jodie."

Let's take a look at this - the kid is 17 - he's a big fan of the "Panic Room" Star. OK - what 17 year old is a Jodie Foster fan - Panic room was rated R and was released when he was 9. Almost all of her movies are rated R - and she hasn't done much in the past 10 years. I don't think he was really a fan of her's - he just recognized her as a celebrity and made a nuisance out of himself.

Pretty much right on Adam. These young punks out in LA think they can make a quick buck by pushing their ill-gotten pics to these cheeseball supermarket checkout rags. Looks like the kid's dad is trying to make a buck off of Ms. Foster since he probably cooked up the scheme in the first place.

Look how many times can these people find a camera in their face when they are not working its like being stalked all the time. my ex stalked me for a time and its terrifying when you feel like you havve to be afraid of every new person you meet and even some of the old ones you know because you dont know anymore who is just trying to get information about you to use against you. i dont imagine that fear is any less for these stars.
