Jodie Foster Accused of Battery by 17-Year-Old Boy

Academy Award-winning actress Jodie Foster has been accused of battery by a 17-year-old boy after an incident in the parking lot of a Los Angeles-area shopping mall,
according to RadarOnline.com. However, the actress's rep
tells PEOPLE that the accusations are a "fabrication."
The incident occurred on May 29 at the Grove shopping complex. According to the police report, the boy spotted Foster in the valet parking area and approached her to take a picture. The police report was filed after the incident and officers did not report to the scene.
Describing the incident to
Radar, the boy's father said, "Jodie pushed and shoved him leaving scratches and bruises on his arm ... She came after him, poked him in the chest and said, 'Do you even have a mother you slime ball?' He didn't mouth back at all and was scared of her."
However, the actress's rep tells another story. "This guy was most definitely a professional paparazzo," says the rep. "He had a large camera bag and 1000mm telephoto lens. He tailed Jodie and followed her all the way from the movie theater to the valet."
"He crowded her and her two young children and took photos of them the whole time," adds the rep, noting that the actress approached the boy and asked him to stop.
Foster, who is notoriously protective of her private life, was at the Grove seeing a movie with her two sons, Charles, 11, and Christopher, 8. The victim's father believes the actress's reaction was an attempt to protect her sons, but believes she overreacted. "My wife is furious that while Jodie was trying to protect her children, she wasn't there to protect her son," he told Radar.
"At one point Jodie's son even came over to my son and apologized. Her kids were really embarrassed," he added.
The boy was apparently a fan of the 'Panic Room' star; however, he isn't feeling the love anymore. "This left a really bad impression on my son about her. He used to be a big fan and now he has a bad taste in his mouth. He's a good kid; kind of small for his age. There was no threat to Jodie."

Your name fits your personality.
Perhaps...maybe...if he had asked to take a picture, instead of just "approaching" her, she might have reacted differently. Saying something..."excuse me, would you mind...."

I think Actors/Actreeses should hire people to go around to all of the american paparazz houses and tail their families and every move they make, see how their children and family like it. I think it is a disgace to be out with your children and have cameras in their faces all the time, I would not like it, and most would not. There needs to be a law guarding families. the children did not ask to be born in the limelight, it should not go with the cliche'(there parents are actors) that is not the case. I do believe G. Britain has a law regarding taking photos of children born to Actors/Actors, we need to adopt it here in America.

Yeah, Sure. It is totally OK for them to play the I-am-a-mother-and-protecting-my-child card and then turn around hire a photographer and sell their kids photos for millions.
Please post the picture of the stalker so he can see what its like to receive the same unwanted attention.

these actresses are out of control with wild imaginations no one was hurting her kids or her its not againts the law for anyone to have there pictures taken you dont want to be known quit your job then you wont be on tv anymre

It is against the law to invade someones privacy and that is what was done. She was not an actress when she became a fierce momma.
It may be against the law, since stalking is considered a misdemeanor. No one should have their privacy violated. There are people who do go to great lengths to get pictures of celebs, and by doing so, they open themselves up to prosecution. I doubt this will ever go to court.
Well....something fishy here. If the "kid" was sporting a 1000mm lens there was hardly a reason for him to confront Foster. On a full-frame 35mm camera, that's the equivalent of a 20x telescope.

So he can't have a nice camera w/o being a paparazzi stalker?

Nice camera?? That is not a nice camera it is a spy camera. I know what I paid for my nice DSLR camera. about 1/8th of what the "kids" camera cost.
She was most likely buying a battery for her strap-on.

You must be male, because you're too stupid to know anything about anything, especially lesbians. Why do men have this thought that the only way a woman can find sexual satisfaction is by having a penis or penis look a like. If you think that that snake hanging between your legs is God's gift to the world, better ask your partner if you've made them happy lately. I doubt you'd know what to do with a real woman once you were lucky enough to have her. Keep your mouth and your fly shut.
Hey, chillypepper who lit the fuse on your tampon. When I want your opinion I will tell you what it is.
Snake...
You're as bad as zero...and a little bit more ignorant.
Tell us all now...do you always spend time wondering what
other people do in their bedroom?
Well, if you had a sex life of your own...you wouldn't have time.
Jean, you and chillypepper need to get together and swap flannel shirts and glue on sideburns. I don't care what people do. This was a joke about batteries, I guess lesbians don't have a sence of humor.
I always liked Jodi, up until the time that I found out she went to Yale.

OHHHH jealous of her education?? She worked hard to pay for and get her education. What have you done??
JOHN, Funny, did you go to HAHVAHD? PELE, you should work hard so you can afford to rent a clue.
I someone invaded my privacy by sticking a camera in my face without my permission, I would have shoved the camera you-know-where. My language would have been a little more colorful.
