Joe Jackson Blames Katherine Jackson for Michael's Death

In an interview with News of the World, Joe Jackson blames his estranged wife Katherine for the death of their son, Michael Jackson.

Joe explained that he told Katherine that Michael was "looking kinda funny and frail" and wanted her to help him, but she refused.

"She didn't want to do that because she was afraid she was invading his privacy," he claims.

He added that, after the King of Pop's tragic death, he admonished Katherine. "I said this would have never happened if you had went and been with him."

Meanwhile, Katherine's lawyers are firing back.

"The world knows that Mrs. Jackson has always been a loving mother and grandmother, and that she and Michael had a very special relationship," her lawyer, Adam Streisand, tells TMZ, adding, "The world also knows who Joe Jackson is and he seems bent on never letting us forget."

Howard Weitzman, a lawyer for the Jackson estate, also defended Michael's mother. "The inference by Joe Jackson that Mrs. Jackson was in any way responsible for Michael's death is preposterous. Katherine Jackson was a supportive and loving mother throughout Michael's life. His love and respect for her is reflected in his estate plan." (Joe Jackson was left out of his son's will.)

If, and that is a stretch, Joe Jackson was so concerned about his son why didn't he do anything??????? All I have seen and read since Michael Jackson's death about Joe Jackson is about money. The day of his - Michael's - Joe was pimping his record label. That tells volumes how concerned he was. Joe needs to face facts, Michael got the last laugh, he left you out of the will. NO cash Bucky!

Hey, it's the pot calling the kettle black. I'd say that they were pretty much both responsible for their son's trouble's starting much, much earlier in life. Once MJ got to be an adult, I doubt if there was much they could have done once the media hounds set upon him due to his talent and fame. There's little point in playing the blame game now that MJ is rotting to the bone.

It's Joe Jackson's fault to begin with that Michael was so disturbed in his life -- Joe Jackson's abusive actions toward Michael made Michael severely insecure -- and now he has the GAUL to blame Katherine Jackson ??? If Joe Jackson was SO concerned about his son's well being -- why didn't HE go and see him and try to help him instead of DELEGATING ??

Joe should just shut up. There is no way Katherine could have done anything different. MJ was an adult. Joe should turn his tirade to the Dr. Conrad Murray who administered the drug that killed Michael. As the first anniversary of MJ's death approaches, to blame his mother is just distasteful. I miss you MJ....rest in peace.

There is no argument that Michael Jackson was not your normal, run of the mill person and this can be attributed to his father. Normal 8 years old boys are asleep by midnight so they can function in school the next day. They are not performing in adult clubs so their father can take it easy. Joe Jackson 'prostituted' his children for his own benefit, and in my opinion, is guilty of human trafficking. He is also doing the same to Michael's children. Yes, MJ may have dressed them in some strange get ups when they were in public but no one knew what they looked like and their privacy was well guarded up until his death. Now the faces of those children are everywhere and who is pocketing the money?
MJ's doctor did not kill him. His mother did not kill him. His own father killed him beginning in his childhood.
Joe Jackson, don't fear about being reunited in Heaven with Michael. Take plenty of lemon-aide and ice for where you are going.

Certainly not Pepsi burn, performance injuries, Vitiligo, Lupus, ( which incidentally is a painless disease if PopEater posters say so), insomnia, extortionists, lying media, and gung-ho DA's out to destroy your good name. So they can make one for themselves. No need to blame quack Murray, and every "doctor" who administers meds,
disregarding ethics, along with patient need/well being. For money. After all, money only matters with respect to Joseph. Because PopEaters say so.

Both parents are to blame. Joe, because he made little working horses out of his children, now allowing them to be children. Work, Work, money, money, that's all Joe thought about. The mother went along with it so she's just a guilty.

That man is pure evil! When I see a picture of him, I shutter!! The mear fact that he is still in this country scares me. He should have been ashamed long ago when Michael revealed that he beat him and he should have left the country. I don't understand how he could put himself in the news over and over again. Does he not have ANY shame???

Sad how mother Jackson is always made out to be the saint. I mean Michael and other family members have openly stated their father was abusive...but where was the mother for all those years during the abuse? How could such a wonderful mom not be aware her babies are being beaten? Yeah..Joe's a real piece of work...but so is Katherine too.

Maybe it's time for Joe to look at "THE MAN IN THE MIRROR". Isn't it interesting that he blames Katharine. What about the father. Oh yea, the father was not on speaking terms. I find it amusing that this family is now trying to be a "Leave It To Beaver' family. Can they say DISFUNCTIONAL, and say it loud!
