Joe Jackson Blames Katherine Jackson for Michael's Death

In an interview with News of the World, Joe Jackson blames his estranged wife Katherine for the death of their son, Michael Jackson.

Joe explained that he told Katherine that Michael was "looking kinda funny and frail" and wanted her to help him, but she refused.

"She didn't want to do that because she was afraid she was invading his privacy," he claims.

He added that, after the King of Pop's tragic death, he admonished Katherine. "I said this would have never happened if you had went and been with him."

Meanwhile, Katherine's lawyers are firing back.

"The world knows that Mrs. Jackson has always been a loving mother and grandmother, and that she and Michael had a very special relationship," her lawyer, Adam Streisand, tells TMZ, adding, "The world also knows who Joe Jackson is and he seems bent on never letting us forget."

Howard Weitzman, a lawyer for the Jackson estate, also defended Michael's mother. "The inference by Joe Jackson that Mrs. Jackson was in any way responsible for Michael's death is preposterous. Katherine Jackson was a supportive and loving mother throughout Michael's life. His love and respect for her is reflected in his estate plan." (Joe Jackson was left out of his son's will.)

Joe know that he can't get the ladies and live the lime light like he use to when Micheal was living. The money and star light is not the same people look at him different now. He evev tried to sucker Mrs. Jackson in for money but when he found out she didn't want him, now she is the bad one. Oh! by the way Pres. Obama has nothing to do with how Joe Jackson acts, he had nothing to do with the oil spill. The person who wrote that about our Pres. are you sure you are not related to Joe Jackson.

A cash making machine is all Katherine ever was to Joe Jackson.
He's a failure as a husband and a father. I can't believe that Michael would permit his children to live under the same roof.
You can bet Jackson, (Joe) is waiting for the opportunity to exploit them for his own benefit.

Thank you Vobox. I am so sick and tired of hearing how this person or that person killed Michael Jackson - he killed himself. We are all responsible for our actions and it's pathetic for everyone to blame someone else for their life. He was old enough to know right from wrong and he was old enough to get help. There is absolutely no one to blame but Michael. He is the one who abused drugs. He is the one who paid people to help him abuse drugs. Michael Jackson is to blame...end of story!

I think Michael said it all when he left his father out of his will. His father is the reason he turned to drugs in the first place. He controlled his kids their whole lives and now because his mother wouldn't try to control him, he blames her for his death. May Joe rot in hell.

Doesn't he have a record label to promote? That was all he was concerned with right after his son died. I guess now that the will has been read and he realizes that Michael did in fact cut him off, he is going to attack the only parent who truly loved him. Joe, if ANYONE is responsible for the misery that Michael was in for much of his life it was YOU. You are the one who filled him with self-hate and shame over the way he looked. He spent his adult life trying to find some ideal look that he would never achieve. And all because you told him how ugly he was when he was a teenager. Do the world a favor and just disappear. We ALL hate you as much as your own family does!

Julie- Yet remaining sons have STATED they ALL have a bit of Joseph in them. I do not believe Jacksons "hate" their father. Personally, as misunderstood as Kingly son.

Its hard enough to lose a child, at any age.
But for Joe to point at Katherine, for Michaels death,, horrible thing to do.
I dont blame Katherine for giving joe the boot years ago.
Shes must better off with out him.
Joe is a user, a horrible husband and father. And a horrible person.
I always felt sad for Michael when it came to the 'father' part.
Its pathetic how the Jackson children were raised. They never knew what a spring break, or summer vacation meant. They were too buzy working. Thanks to joe, those kids never knew what a real family was like. If not for Katherine, they wouldnt have ever had any kind of a clue.

He blames Katherine Really? Joe Jackson is a fool who has always lived through his children. The only thing Katherine is guilty of is believing that she had to stay and endure his crap. Michael was very close to his mother and I'm sure a piece of her heart is missing having lost her baby boy. No parent should have to bury their child, however it happens you don't want to experience this. Sometimes there is nothing you can do but hope for the best, while preparing for the worst.

What a cruel thing to do. Michael loved his mother more than Joe and jealousy is eating him up and he can't stand that Michael provided for his mother in his will and Joe got zilch. HA and Joe is showing us why Michael shunned him. There is nothing nice I can say or will ever say about Joe Jackson.
