Tiffani Thiessen Welcomes a Baby Girl!

'White Collar' actress Tiffani Thiessen and husband Brady Smith welcomed their first child, a daughter, Harper Renn Smith, on Tuesday, June 15 in Los Angeles, her rep told PEOPLE.

The newborn weighed in at 8 pounds, 3 ounces. The couple and the baby are "doing great," the rep added.

Thiessen and Smith, an actor and artist, were married in 2005 and announced the pregnancy last fall.

"We are over the moon!" Thiessen and her husband told PEOPLE back in November. "It's something we've wanted for a long time and we are thrilled that it's actually happening," they added.

In the April issue of Pregnancy magazine, the actress gushed about her pregnancy. "I also hope the baby has his artistic side. My husband's an artist and painter, and he is so talented ... [and] my laid-back personality, because I think it will help us as parents if the child's not too high maintenance and just loves life," she said.

At the time, she admitted she wasn't nervous about motherhood. "I'm a wing-it kind of girl," she said. "My husband's a little more of a worrier, so it will be interesting to see how [fatherhood] works for him. But one of the reasons I married that guy is because I knew he was going to be great with kids."

Thiessen, who rose to fame as Kelly Kapowski on 'Saved by the Bell,' currently plays the steadfast wife of an FBI agent in USA Network's 'White Collar.'

I believe she meant she hoped the child wasn't high-maintenance when it was much older, not as a baby. There's no doubt she knows the baby will be high-maintenance. Don't act like all celeb parents are spoiled brats. Many of them aren't and are great parents. Many parents do the best they can with their children, and they may not turn out the way they hope they will. By the way, congratulations, Tiffani. I hope to see pictures of your daughter soon. I'm sure she's as beautiful as you are.

Tiffani and Brady were on the show for the HGTV Next Design Star. They couldn't have been more gracious. I wish them both all the happiness in the world with their beautiful daughter with a beautiful name.
