Megan Fox Gets Engaged, Loses Ring

Sorry guys -- America's sexiest gaffe-master, actress Megan Fox, is off the market. Brian Austin Green, 36, proposed to the 24-year-old 'Transformers' star June 1, Us Weekly reports. The two got together in 2004, became engaged in 2007, and called the engagement off in 2009.

"Yes, she is engaged," a rep confirmed to PEOPLE.

The proposal was a beachy affair in Hawaii. A thrilled Fox was reportedly hopping up and down and actually lost her engagement ring, a witness tells the magazine. "Later, I saw a half dozen staff sifting through the sand."

The ring was a 2-carat diamond Fox and Green chose together in Beverly Hills. "Security and maintenance staff spent a couple of hours looking for it," another source tells Us Weekly. "No one found it."

Over the weekend, Fox told reporters, "Oddly, you wouldn't think it, but I'm very domestic. That keeps me sane."

Fox stays away from the Hollywood party crowd and maintains friendships she formed before she became famous. "I sort of distance myself from the Hollywood crowd," she said. "I don't go out and socialize that way."

Before Fox and Green nixed their first engagement, Green spoke of his ideal wedding, telling PEOPLE, "[The ceremony will be] small ... Originally we were talking elopement and now we might have a few people there."

Recently, Fox either quit or was fired from 'Transformers 3,' depending whom you ask, and was replaced by a Victoria's Secret model.

LOL...I totally agree! I can't STAND this girl! What kind of an idiot loses a 2 carat diamond on the beach, just minutes after being proposed to? Since they couldn't find it (which is just not logical considering she didn't move from the spot and they had all those people looking) she probably put it under her tongue and then pawned it when nobody was looking. Her looks are so totally average that a pawn broker would probably NOT recognize her.

Her fiance should check all the pawn brokers within a 100 mile radius...he should also watch for any extravagant purchases -- with the money she got frow selling or pawning it.

If Fox and Green went to buy a ring together, then she KNEW she was getting engaged, so why all the excitement with her jumping up and down and subsequently dropping the ring? Sound like a publicity stunt. This woman is a total bore. Yes, she looks good, but her acting ability is zero. We hear about her every time she stubs her toe, goes to the bathroom, or eats an ice cream cone. Enough Megan Fox already! She is about as interesting as watching paint dry.
