Taylor Lautner Flexes His Abs, Talks 'Twilight' in GQ

Like it or not -- and if you're on Team Jacob, you love it -- 'Twilight' star Taylor Lautner is huge. Physically and buzz-ically. Lautner, 18, will see his most 'Twilight Saga' screen time yet when 'Eclipse' drops this month. His abs are the stuff of legend. He signed a $7.5 million deal star in a 'Stretch Armstrong' film. He's on the cover of GQ, an honor Robert Pattinson nabbed this time last year.

So yes, Lautner is massive right now. After the jump, read what he has to say about living at home, almost getting cut from the films and being up close and personal with The Kanye Moment at last year's VMAs.

Presenting at the Oscars with Kristen Stewart: "I would have passed out if she wasn't there! You're looking down and you're talking to George Clooney, Leonardo DiCaprio -- and they're listening to you!"

Taylor Swift's Kanye experience at MTV's VMAs: "I was standing behind her as it was happening, and 100 percent I was sure it was staged! I thought, 'This was something that they rehearsed.' I was enjoying the show! But then Taylor turned around and I saw her face."

On having to audition for 'New Moon' after being part of 'Twilight,' rejection staring him in the face all the while: "I'm in the gym and I'm doing reps, and I'm reading the books, and I'm studying the character. I'm just saying to myself, 'I want this role. I love this role. I'm not gonna lose it. And I'm gonna know it better than anybody, and I'm gonna do that extra rep, because I'm gonna be Jacob Black.'"

All stars' best friends, the paparazzi: "There's some things you just have to live with. Like twelve cars camping outside your house, and when you wake up in the morning, they're going to follow you wherever you go. It helps that I live in Valencia. It eliminates some. But they're still here."

Living at home: "The thing I love is that my home life hasn't changed. I still help out with the garbage. I still help out with the lawn."

He is Jacob Black. As soon as he appeared on screen in the first film the role was his. When they said they might replace him I was one of many who posted everywhere that he should stay, hoping someone in power would notice we wanted him as Jacob. I think they miscast Bella and maybe even Edward but they were right on with Jacob.
