America Ferrera Is Engaged to Longtime Boyfriend

Life is looking anything but ugly for America Ferrera. The 'Ugly Betty' actress is engaged to marry longtime boyfriend Ryan Piers Williams, her rep confirms to PEOPLE. She was sporting the new diamond Wednesday at the Edinburgh Film Festival screening of 'The Illusionist in Scotland.'

The two met at the University of Southern California when he cast her in a student film that he was directing.

They currently live together and have two dogs, a Golden Retriever and a Great Dane.

Williams currently owns a production company, Down by the River Productions. He directed a movie called 'Muertas,' which was shot in El Paso, Texas. He has also directed two short films -- 'The Flood' and 'Confine.'

I don't think marrying somebody else famous makes it staged it can also be real love too. But I do wish them the best sometimes it can be harder being in a relationship with someone famous.
