Exclusive: Perez Hilton Quotes From 'Joy Behar' Interview

Controversial blogger Perez Hilton is hitting HLN's 'The Joy Behar Show' tonight to talk about this week's Miley Cyrus photo incident for the first time -- and PopEater's got exclusive quotes from the interview.

Earlier this week, Hilton, whose real name is Mario Lavandeira, posted a link to a photo of Miley Cyrus on his Twitter account. The photo featured Cyrus climbing out of a car apparently wearing no underwear. And while underwear-less photos of celebrities are a common occurrence on Hilton's site, Miss Cyrus is only 17 years old, making her a minor -- and his actions could have some serious legal implications.

Joy Behar scored the first sit down with Hilton, and the blogger was eager to tell his side of the story. Excerpts from the interview after the jump.

On why he posted the photo:
"I didn't pick it for her to look like she wasn't wearing underwear. The point of me choosing that one photo is because it was showing Miley getting out of the car in an unladylike fashion. And I just thought that was funny and in keeping with her shocking behavior of late, because she was very well aware that she was in a public place at a -- at a video shoot and that there were paparazzi present."

On if he altered the photo before posting:
"I did not pixelate anything. I did not PhotoShop anything. There's been a lot of inaccuracies being perpetuated about what happened in the media. And I just chose a photo that showed her getting out of the car. You didn't see anything down there."

On why he removed photo:
"I did not take the photo down. I didn't even post the photo on my website. I wanted to clear that up, as well. I merely linked to a photo that I found on the Internet on my Twitter ... Then that website that I posted a link to, they're the ones that took it down. I would have posted the image on my site had I been able to. But it was taken by one photo agency that I don't have a deal with. So I've learned my mistake in the past about using photos that I don't have licenses to."

On possibly being charged with child pornography:
"I think it's insulting to children to accuse that of child pornography. If you want to look at the definition of child pornography, it is not an image like the one I posted. It is explicit behavior designed to arouse, engage in sexual activity. You don't see anything from Miley's private parts. You just see here from an unflattering vantage view getting out of her car. The point is that it's not child pornography. And if I was aware that it was or that she was not wearing underwear, I would not have posted it. But I -- I knew the opposite, Joy. I saw other photos from that video shoot and I was very well aware of the fact that Miley was wearing underwear."

On whether he regrets posting the photo:
"I don't regret what I did and I would do the same thing again ... It's not actually doing anything worse than Miley herself has been doing recently, from grinding up on her 40-something-year-old director to pole dancing to all the over-sexualized things that she has been doing and turning herself into this creature."

What he did was wrong but i don't think he should be prosecuted by all means. Miley needs to take responsibility for her own actions and act like a girl her age. If she were truly going out in public wearing a dress and no underpants then that says alot about her reputation. Apparently her mom and pops don't care that she acts like a skank in public. I know she is 17 years old but she has long tried to give up her child like innocent and enter the adult world.

"I did not take the photo down. I didn't even post the photo on my website. This is one of his statements and here is another one.
It is not an image like the one I posted. One minute he didn't post it then the next he did. He posted it then got busted and now that he might get in trouble he is trying to get out of it. By the way Linda, Do you know Miley personally? If not where do you get off calling her a shank? You don't sound any better than Perez.

Did you not read the article? He said that he had a link on his site to another site that had the photo. That other site took the photo down.

A better question is, if he didn't see anything wrong with the picture, why did he link to it in the first place? Does he link to every Miley Cyrus photo?

What a weasel! Miley was making a video so regular getting out of car does not apply. And he picked the only photo that did show something on purpose. And the photo was on tinypic hosting which isn't an agency. I think Perez himself uploaded that pic from wherever he got it. He is lying. I have this picture and it would be illegal to post it I would think. So he is lying and trying to blame Miley. If he just owned it, maybe, but blaming the victum is pathetic. I wish someone in Miley's family or Miley would get pissed now, but it looks like he is going to get away with it because he is the only one talking. sorry for spelling errors

throw the book at hilton. when has he done anything with good intent? he "linked" to the photo, (if that is even true) because of the shock factor of a 17 yr. old with the possiblity of her being caught with no underwear on. the leech runs a shock celebrity blog of all things. if he is unaware, 17yr. olds are considered MINORS by the law. he should read up on child porn laws, whether it was his or not, he linked to it, fake or photoshopped or not, by law he's guilty of distrubiting child porn. I hope the DA will make an example of him. he can have his picture "linked" on his twitter account of him in prison stripes with his cell-mate Bubba. that will get him the attention he craves...

Didn't you read the article? It's kind of immature to want to be first no matter what. Stop bashing Miley, even Perez admits she was wearing underwear. The problem was that when Miley tried to climb out of the car they rode up like a wedgie. And that is the picture Perez decided to use even though it was not Miley's fault.

Mr. Hilton should 100 percent be charged with child pornography! Whether or not she was actually wearing undies, and whether or not he was the original poster of the picture is superfluous! It was obviously photo-shopped, which automatically calls for a lawsuit.
Second, he claims that he 'only posted it on Twitter' not on his website. Like it makes a difference! Even if the photo wasn't originally his, he posted it. You do the crime, you do the time.
Oh yeah, and Miley isn't a creature. Never has been, never will. Always been somewhat of a Miley fan. Good luck to her!

I stopped reading his site years ago because I was so disturbed by just how much he hated Miley Cyrus-who at the time, was 15 years old. That a grown MAN spent so much time and effort hating a CHILD, drawing disgusting things on a picture of a CHILD and fantasizing about confrontations with her was just too creepy. He is obsessed with her. Taking his past posting on her into consideration, I absolutely think he should be charged.
