John Morris doesn't look familiar, but he sure sounds it. The 25-year-old grew up with 'Toy Story,' first voice-acting for the toys' owner, Andy, at age seven. In the long-awaited 'Toy Story 3,' Andy moves to college and the toys get relegated to the Mattel equivalent of a retirement home. Fittingly, Morris is moving on from 'Toy Story' as an adult, seeking new roles and basking in what may be the last of the series' limelight.Morris chatted with PopEater about playing his character at three different formative ages, what great voice-acting requires and Andy's role in 'Toy Story 3,' out Friday. Watch the video!

If ever a voice found its song it occurred with Sarah McLachlan singing 'When Somebody Love You". The presidential statues at Mt. Rushmore were seen crying.

love toy story but really ...creating a character....andy does what? speak three or four words in each movie? i would not even consider him a character....jim varney now that was a character. and the guy who replaced him does ok but you can still tell his death caused slinky to not be quite the same.

My nephew loves toy story his parent are taking him to see toy story 3
We LOVE Toy Story and we LOVE the people who play the charactors!
Please find a way to keep the story going....I am 45 and would truly be sad if my som could not grow up with more of Toy Story.
OH, and PLEASE keep the the original actors that do the voice overs. There simply isn't anyone that gives the charactors the pizazz that they do!

I'm 18 and going to go see TS3 tonight. It's so funny how I watched this show as a kid, sometimes I'd watch it with my own toys gathered around me.
Now, just like Andy, I'm going to college! heh.

Since this will probably be the last Toy Story, I'm really hoping it does well. BTW, Tim Allen was 57 on June 13, and Tom Hanks and I will both be 54 on July 9th. Ta dah!!

John Morris was not 7 when toy story came out he was 11. was born in 1984 and toy story came out in 1995 so you need to get you facts Straight

Oh no i spelled "your" wrong. but apparently you understood it.
At last a movie I have been waiting to see! A movie I can share with my grandson and not worry about explaining 'thing's. Thank you to all the creative minds that went into this production.

Loved the movie -- and love that they stuck with John Morris as Andy's voice -- and didn't replace him with a more well-known actor!

I am so excited to see this. It's strange to think back and realize that I grew up with Andy. The similarities (from what I can see) are remarkable! We're both 18, going to collage, and still have out favorite toys we used to play with. :) I love my talking Simba plushie, what can I say?

FUNNY THING TOY STORY HAS NOT BEEN OUT FOR 18 YEARS, YET THEY CLAIM THE 7 YEAR OLD THAT DID ANDY'S VOICE IS NOW 25 ????

Yes you are right about Toy Story not being around for 18 years. But the first Toy Story took around 3-4 years to make and they did the voice acting when John Morris was 7. The movie didn't get released until he was 10.
