Did Miley Cyrus Tattoo 'LOVE' on Her Right Ear?

Miley Cyrus has proven she 'Can't Be Tamed,' and when she arrived at Los Angeles International Airport Wednesday, she appeared to be sporting a new tattoo. The word "LOVE" is inscribed on her right ear, although she has not confirmed if it's real or not. Perhaps it is a permanent dedication to her 20-year-old Australian boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth? If the tattoo is real, Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus would have had to sign-off on it because Miley is only 17 -- in the U.S., it is illegal for anyone under the age of 18 to get a tattoo without parental permission. The singer already has "Just Breathe" inked on her ribcage. Of course, that ink honors the memory of one of her close friends, who passed away from cystic fibrosis over three years ago. ("Just Breathe" is the slogan for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.)

Cyrus is currently on the road promoting her soon-to-be released album, 'Can't Be Tamed.' The drama around the singer was recently kicked up a notch when celebrity blogger Perez Hilton allegedly posted, then deleted, an upskirt photo of Cyrus -- apparently sans underwear. This has led to debate over whether he should be prosecuted for child pornography -- regardless of whether the photo is real or not.

"That's like, some idiot being an idiot -- that's not me, you know what I'm saying?" Cyrus told radio host Ryan Seacrest on Tuesday.

Her rant continued as she admitted the public is too hard on her. She came under fire during her shows in Europe, where she was wearing raunchy, provocative outfits and deemed too sexy -- especially since many of her 'Hannah Montana' fans are still following her career.

"I'm not trying to be 'slutty,'" Cyrus told The Associated Press. "I'm not trying to be, like, go to the club and get a bunch of guys ... What I'm trying to do is to make a point with my record and look consistent, in the way my record sounds and the way I dress."

"Isn't it funny how things that are so negative have to come out right before my record?" Cyrus asked. "It's like, no one can just let a positive thing happen. All I can do is focus on the positive and that I hope this record does well."

So she has a couple of tattoos....big deal. No I don't have any and would never get one but she is her own person and can do what she wants to her body as long as her parents approve. I have 3 kids and all of them have tats. Most of them have some meaning behind them. Did I want my kids to get them, probably not but again they can do what they want since they are all over 18.
Give the girl a break, if you don't want your kids to be like her then don't let them watch her on tv or listen to her music. You are the parents and need to make decisions for your own kids not Miley.

I'm not one of those fans that think miley can do no wrong. but give the girl a friggin break. first of all how is 17 and 19 not age appropriate? it's two years. Liam is only two years older than her. Like you've never dated anyone older. Get over yourself. Also not all tattoos are trashy. It's often the location that makes it trashy. I am 20 years old and have two tattoos. One on my right hip, one in between my shoulder blades. Both mean a lot to me. We aren't in Miley's life, we don't know what her tattoos mean to her. Well except everyone knows her Breathe one is for her friend that died. Anyway, stop judging someone just because they have tattoos. In 30 years when my skin is wrinkly and I've had a couple kids yes maybe I will regret the location of my hip tattoo. But I will never regret the tattoo its self. Tattoos are not bad and I don't know why most people think they are. Anyway, let her make her own mistakes and let her be who she is. We don't pick on normal girls like this do we? Her job is an entertainer. She sings and dances, after that her job discription ends. So stop putting her on a pedistal, you're only going to get disappointed. She is still a 17 year old her who is going to make mistakes. To expect her not to would just be naive

I UNDERSTAND MILEY WANTS TO SELL HER NEW RECORD. I THINK THAT COULD BE DONE WITH LESS EXPOSURE AND SEX. SHE COULD DO IT WITH MORE CLOTHES ON AND STILL BE IN THEME WITH THE RECORD. SHE SHOULD REALIZE IF SHE WANTS TO MEET A NICE GUY IT WON'T HAPPEN IF SHE CONTINUES IN THIS MANNER. PEOPLE ARE LOOSING RESPECT FOR HER AND HER FAMILY.

I have a question do any of you remember what it is like to be seventeen? I wanted a tat at that age. You are forgeting she is just a kid who has enough pressure on her. Let her be a kid.. I think her parents let her live her own life to a point. At least when she is 30 she will not be living at home. I know a few people who live at home because their parents didn't let them live their own lives and make decissions on their own. That is how kids learn to clean up their own messes later in life.

The CHILD is out of control. Her parents are acting like CHILDREN, not like adults. Someone needs to stage an intervention (isn't that what they do in Hollywood?) and teach the parents their roles and the child her role. Otherwise, I predict another LL in the making.

I couldn't agree more with Joe. Miley, you are a very talented singer and doing too much at such a young age may not be very wise and is only going to prompt you to take it a step further. I pray for you Miley and I just hope you do what YOU want, NOT the media!

I'm convinced that one day soon, people will start realizing that she does not have enough talent to transition from child "star" to adult star. She has a terrible voice, can't act her way out of a wet toilet paper envelope, and that at some point, she's gonna have to have some substance to keep the attention she seems to love.

That tattoo is real and its a crappy job. The artist went too deep and its a mess. You think with all their money these celebs would get a good artist to do their work.

Her parents should have made her wait until she was older. She is too young to know if she is ready to live with those permanent markers for the rest of her life. If she still wants them when she is at least legal, then let her get them then. When I was in high school I wanted to get a tattoo, but my parents made me wait. I ended up getting my first when I was 20 and I am glad they made me wait. In high school I would have just picked the first random picture that came to mind and tattooed that on me, but because I waited I was able to pick something I knew would still make me smile when I was 50. I have two tattoos now, but I don't regret any of them. With Miley being so young though, she could easily live to regret some of them.

I think people are being to hard on Miley. Yes, she's 17, and I think tattoos are stupid, but if she wants to do that, then why does it matter so much to people? And I think her outfits and recent behavior is because for so long, people have hated on her and said horrible thing s about her, just because she was on Hannah Montana. That's not a valid reason to hate someone. And now, she wants people to see her as grown up and mature, and not automatically link her to Disney and Hannah Montana. So she does this by dressing in wild outfits. I think everyone needs to chill out and let her figure things out, and then maybe she'll cool down and realize she doesn't have to try so hard.

I have mixed feelings on this:
On her side--well for piercing and tatoos, most teenagers have them (ok maybe more piercings than tatoos). The only reason it makes a headline is because famous and she's just a teen with money and is famous enough to do what she wants...so let it be.
Against--many girls do see her role model and if they go "Mom I want a tatoo because Miley has one"...that could be a problem but that could be with anything...

Joe, You are so right. My Granddaughter adores her. Pretty scary. One day when Miley "GROWS UP" she will think...oh dear, what have I done. Her parents need to grow up also and let her be her age. They have taken her childhood away from her. So Sad! They just want to make money using her.
