Amanda Bynes announced early this morning she'll retire from acting."I don't love acting anymore so I've stopped doing it," she wrote on Twitter. A quick volley of tweets included further explanation: "Being an actress isn't as fun as it may seem" and "I've never written the movies & tv shows I've been apart of I've only acted like the characters the producers or directors wanted me to play."
The 24-year-old star became famous on Nickelodeon, eventually starring in films like 'She's the Man' and 'Hairspray' and posing as cover girl for magazines like Cosmopolitan and Maxim.

This chick couldn't act sick if she had the flu!
Translation to her tweets: I no longer can land any roles and am yet another exapmle of a kid who was marketed well but really had no acting chops.

I find her announcement to be very responsible. If she is not happy, then why continue? Money isn't everything... and it's not like she's making the multi-millions that someone like Jennifer Aniston is. Besides, with the way Hollywood is these days, I don't blame her for wanting out. Too much trash, drugs and partying!

Her annoucement is responsible? Her announcement is nothing more than a plead to have her fans beg her not to. It's nothing more.
WHO?

Who cares? She can't act. Not to mention that just because she got a makeover and they bleached her hair, slapped on some makeup and gave her hair extensions, she's cross eyed and ugly.

Who is she? Last I checked Hollywood isn't banging her door down for parts in movies. She's only retiring because no one is asking her to do anything is my guess. Ooh well, much success in whatever she does.

I never really liked Amanda. Actually, I kinda hated her and her stupid show of bits. But hey, I like her better than that stupid Miranda Cosgrove. So she'll be missed. Best of luck to her!

Amanda you are one of my favorite actors. We got to meet you on the set of What I Like About You when my daughter (also Amanda) wished to meet you for her "Make A Wish". You were so kind to her and it is a trip my daughter will always remember. You are a good role model for girls. You've got you "act" together and I hope that never changes. We will all miss you verrrrrrrry much if we don't see you in film. We wish you the very best and hope you find something that will make you happy.

Amanda Bynes is ADORABLE, smart, funny and an all around terrific actress. I hope she will reconsider her decision to quit acting. We need to see more of her as she moves into the next phase of her career.

Awww, I'm gonna miss seeing you on the big screen, Amanda! You're a celebrity I've always admired because you were serious about your work and not as obnoxious as other celebrities. Good luck with your life's path, I wish you peace and happiness.

Rethink this Amanda. Without you Lindsay Lohan will be getting more offers.
