You didn't even need to turn around to see if Justin Bieber had arrived at the 2010 MuchMusic Video Awards. The million-decibel screams said it all -- the current Boy Wonder had hit the red carpet.
In a swirl of camera flashes and young girls' tears, the pop superstar came and went from the red carpet in a flash. Bieber was unquestionably the big draw of the night, but he had a little help from pop queen Miley Cyrus, who hosted the awards ceremony. Fans held signs reading, "I have Cyrus Virus and Bieber Fever!"

Justin Bieber will be around a long time. He is very talented and has mega charisma. I see him as a producer as well as performer and mogul like Justin Timberlake or Usher. I am not a teen either. I am a grandmother.

This Bieber child cannot possibly be 16. A normal 16YO boy doesn't sound like a little girl. And he has marginal talent; what he does have is a monumental publicity/image machine behind him. He's a fad, same as another marginal talent, Lady Gaga, who also has a superman publicity machine behind her.

This child cost me an extra twenty bucks for my son's hair. Well, kinda, after my 12 yr old got his hair cut the hairdresser told him he looked just like Justin B., well I did not pay too much attention because I did not know who she was talking about (my son did, and he was not pleased to hear this, the look he gave the hairdresser was awful!). A couple of days later, we had to attend his grandfathers funeral and asked his older sister to help him with his hair so that he did not look "shaggy" and she did. The wake was a long event so I would take our youngest outside to walk around and if there were any young girls around they would point and stare, I could not figure out what was going on, of course I think he is adorable, he is my son. Then after we got back in state, we were running late for school the next morning (we got back in the middle of the night), and my son's hair still resembled the style in which my daughter fixed it, I went round and round with him over just getting ready, I did not know why he was fussing about his hair! When I picked him up, the girls were all smiling and yelling out "bye JB", still did not get it (as those are 2 of his initials), I figured he must act differently at school from the child I know. In the meantime we had been going round because he wanted another haircut and I said no, it was just cut, until I finally saw this kid's picture that day! I had to do a double take, that could be my son, how weird! He did get the cut he wanted that afternoon!
