Snooki and 'Jersey Shore' counterpart Pauly D were among the biggest crowd-pleasers at Toronto's MuchMusic Video Awards last night. The red carpet screams nearly drowned out the diminutive reality star's words, but not so much that she couldn't get out a few tidbits about the second season of 'Jersey Shore' -- or about Bieber fever."I love Justin!" she said of the Biebs, who was also in attendance at the awards. "I met him at the Grammys, and I tried to make him a guido and spike his hair, but I don't think he was really into it."

What is it with young girls today and that terrible, TERRIBLY unflatteringly look they put on their faces when they are having their pictures taken. They do that thing with their mouths. Sookie should try to do something that makes her pencil thin no lips look more appealing. She and all those others look like they are trying to squeeze out a big one that got stuck. Why are we allowing "reality stars" to influence television programming? That is why the big three (ABC, CBS, and NBC) along with Fox are dumbing down program content, pulling off well-written, well-acted programs in favor of cheap to produce garbage. Sadly, this is a lesson cable stations have learned well. (Remember when VH-1 and MTV actually had something to do with music?) Tia Tequila, the creature who goes by the name "New York," Bret Michaels, Flav a Flave, Spencer and Heidi, and the Jersey Shore garbage are winning. If things don't turn around, the high tech revolution in television--HD, 3D, etc., will have been for nothing.
