A few weeks ago, when we started the official Facebook campaign to get Zach Gilford an Emmy nomination for his epic 'Friday Night Lights' performance in 'The Son,' we just figured we'd throw our support behind one of our favorite actors (and shows) and see how people reacted. Well, thousands of fans later, the movement is getting major media play and is only getting stronger. Now, Zach himself has sent along this exclusive video thanking all of the 'Friday Night Lights' Facebook supporters for their love. Could he get any dreamier? One thing that Directv did right was to keep this amazing show on the air. I loved this past season and I truly believe that the fans who are watching it for the first time now will also love it. Not only should Zach Gilford get an Emmy/Golden Globe for his acting, but Kyle Chandler should as well. (not to mention the show itself!)

I watched the episode after I saw people nominated him and I thought he looked far too dramatic. Actually I watched about half and that was enough for me. It wasn't believable enough to win an award for. He was trying too hard...always moving and looking away, and then back. If I was in his shoes I would have my head in my hands staring at the ground or being nice to people and appreciating their sympathy. So nope, not even close.
