'Bachelor' Couple Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi Split

'The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love' seemed to end perfectly, with Jake Pavelka, 32, proposing to blonde beauty Vienna Girardi, 24. But just three months later, they've gone their separate ways.

"Jake and Vienna have split," Janice Lee, a rep for the couple, said in a statement, OK Magazine reports. "They appreciate the respect for their privacy at this time."

TheHollywoodGossip pegs ABC's 'Bachelor' and 'Bachelorette' series at 2-for-19 in producing successful marriages.

Jake also participated in the most recent season of 'Dancing with the Stars,' and was the fifth contestant ousted. Afterward, he stated that he and Vienna needed to focus on their relationship "and just see where life takes us right after that."

After the series finale in March, Jake and Vienna spoke to E! Online. "It's a giant love story," Jake said, turning to Vienna and saying, "You're my best friend in the whole world, and that's the most important thing to me."

Radar previously reported that Jake, a pilot from Texas, continued some form of involvement with his ex-girlfriend after his stint on 'The Bachelor' and subsequent engagement to Vienna.

Jake did not deserve any of the women that were on the show except Vienna. It was all about sex appeal. Tinley deserves a great guy. I am taken and getting married this weekend....Yahoo!

Two phoney losers split? How shocking! I think most knew it would never last despite Jake's constant attempts to let us know otherwise. He was never very convincing. Now its time for them to both go away. He needs to go be a pilot because hes no celebrity and he has zero talent and Vienna can go back to her favorite sport...wet t shirt or bikini contests. So right. He does need to go back to being a pilot, and she needs to go back to whatever it was she was doing. AT least she has a ring to sell right? True that they are both so fake, just made me want to gag. I dont even watch the bacholor and bachlorette anymore just for those reasons, fake, too good lookings, or something about a millionaire.

Of course it didn't. Instead of being the pilot that he was, he is now a hollywood wannabe...probably too big for his own britches now....who has time to hang with Vienna? I saw he is going to be on a tv series now...geez, go back to being who she fell in love with and get over your self....just sayin...

Whew! I'm actually relieved. I never thought Vienna was Jake's true love.

I'm just so glad that God truly can bring people together. I pray Jake meets God's best for him soon without TV, etc.

I liked Jake until he picked Vienna - she is just so skanky.
Then I thought about and figured if he picked her - wow he's got to be a little goofy himself and maybe they deserved each other. Well since that is over and yep - I figured it wouldn't last more than 6 months - sa la vi! 2 loosers
