'Bachelor' Couple Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi Split

'The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love' seemed to end perfectly, with Jake Pavelka, 32, proposing to blonde beauty Vienna Girardi, 24. But just three months later, they've gone their separate ways.

"Jake and Vienna have split," Janice Lee, a rep for the couple, said in a statement, OK Magazine reports. "They appreciate the respect for their privacy at this time."

TheHollywoodGossip pegs ABC's 'Bachelor' and 'Bachelorette' series at 2-for-19 in producing successful marriages.

Jake also participated in the most recent season of 'Dancing with the Stars,' and was the fifth contestant ousted. Afterward, he stated that he and Vienna needed to focus on their relationship "and just see where life takes us right after that."

After the series finale in March, Jake and Vienna spoke to E! Online. "It's a giant love story," Jake said, turning to Vienna and saying, "You're my best friend in the whole world, and that's the most important thing to me."

Radar previously reported that Jake, a pilot from Texas, continued some form of involvement with his ex-girlfriend after his stint on 'The Bachelor' and subsequent engagement to Vienna.

I agree, I hope Ali ends up with someone truly worthy of her, I happen to like her and think she is who she appears to be; herself and down to earth!
There was a time I wished it would have been Ali and Jake, but now I'm not too sure about him.

Jake received his money from the Bachelor and ran. That's all he wanted. That show is so scripted. What a loser. The fact that he was on dancing with the stars was ridiculous. He's not a star He's a total loser looking for his 15 minute fame and a pay check. Yuk........

I absolutely hate this show. It's so phony and contrived. What person, male or female, with any self respect would submit to being in a group of 20-plus people hoping to be chosen by one person - and the one leads the others on all the while. Horrible concept. Horrible show.

The whole basis of the show is ridiculous, given the fact these couples have 6 weeks to get to "know" each other. Let alone a real date in the real world. This stuff about "your my best friend" .. lol .. after 2 "dates". I can't help but laugh when these women are in the end segment talking about "but I looovvveeee him" with tears and sobbing going on. It's such a sad state of things when anyone male or female would put their self-esteem or lack of it on the line in that way.

JMO, now would it be something else if jake and ali were to be together again... I read a article that Ali at the end will pick no one on the show... So Maybe Jake and Ali as I see belong together... Ali is afraid of love and gets ditzy sometimes, BUt you could see that she wanted Jake...
jmo as the guys on the show now not for her and that Justin is out for no good and now we hear someone has a g/f...hmmmmmmmmmm

WOW...isn't that how it always goes once the show is over and they aren't wined and dined like they were on the show THEN THE HONEYMOON IS OVER. is anyone surprised?? you can't know someone enough in 6 weeks and then being on your own without the show being there for your every move really changes things and pretty much the thrill is gone and they don't know how to relate to each other with no one around telling them what to do... but oh well no one really thought it would last anyway probably would of been the same no matter who he chose...
they should really stop doing this show cuz THE COUPLES NEVER LAST IN THE REAL WORLD.............JUST ANOTHER COUPLE THAT DIDN'T MAKE IT NOT SURPRISING....its too bad for Jake though because he took a chance on her when everyone was against her..

The two were such a MESS ... and basically only kept seeing each other for press exposure. I'm a flight attendant and would NOT want to fly with Jake. He appears way too emotional and not overly focused...up, up and go away ....yeah! As for Ali,she better be careful...the only guy in my opinion worth checking out is Roberto. He appears to have his act together. We'll have to wait and see what his TRUE colors are...thankfully, there are NO Jakes in the show.

Vienna needs to go back to the Fla. swamps where she belongs for her daddy to take care of and Jake can go fly a plane, if that cry baby remembers how. We don't want to see either of these two no talent, phony creeps in public again!!! Just go away!!!
