'Bachelor' Couple Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi Split
'The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love' seemed to end perfectly, with Jake Pavelka, 32, proposing to blonde beauty Vienna Girardi, 24. But just three months later, they've gone their separate ways.
"Jake and Vienna have split," Janice Lee, a rep for the couple, said in a statement,
OK Magazine reports. "They appreciate the respect for their privacy at this time."
TheHollywoodGossip pegs ABC's 'Bachelor' and 'Bachelorette' series at 2-for-19 in producing successful marriages.
Jake also participated in the most recent season of 'Dancing with the Stars,' and was the fifth contestant ousted. Afterward, he stated that he and Vienna needed to focus on their relationship "and just see where life takes us right after that."
After the series finale in March, Jake and Vienna spoke to
E! Online. "It's a giant love story," Jake said, turning to Vienna and saying, "You're my best friend in the whole world, and that's the most important thing to me."
Radar previously reported that Jake, a pilot from Texas, continued some form of involvement with his ex-girlfriend after his stint on 'The Bachelor' and subsequent engagement to Vienna.

I'm shocked!!! Mean they really weren't in love?? The dumbing down of American continues with all of these "reality" shows. I don't blame the networks, I blame the public for watching these shows and craving more. Very sad.

I HONESTLY LIKED JAKE. BUT VIENNA WAS A DISASTER... TENLY WAS GOOD FOR HIM, BUT IT NEVER HAPPENED. IM SURE THE PUBLIC WOULD HAVE AT LEAST A LITTLE RESPECT FOR JAKE, UNLIKE NOW, HE DOESN'T HAVE ANYTHING SINCE THE DAY HE GOT WITH VIENNA. WELL, ITS A DONE DEAL, AND IM GLAD, CUZ SHE WAS NASTY. Jake was a fake the whole time, and I knew it. His facial expressions were so phony. These reality shows are mostly about people trying to get into the limelight.
When "the Bachelor" ended, Vienna moved to Texas to be with Jake, and Jake ran off to Hollywood to go dancing with the stars. That is not what a sincere bachelor contestant would do.
And this article said the sucess rate is 2-for-19. This is not really true, because Jason didn't marry the woman he picked. So the only success is Trista/Ryan.

jason doesn't count even though he married molly (ewe) because she wasn't his final choice at the end of the show. ha ha ha
why do they keep doing the show the success rate of these couples staying is not happening and people just keep getting hurt and hurt feelings its really stupid to keep the show on. just goes to show you can't find true love in 6 weeks and really know a person because you have other people there so you don't get enough 1 on 1 time with these people to really know anything but that you are attracted to this person. and that IS NOT LOVE!

I really did like Jake -- thought he was a good, quality, caring, thoughtful man. Until, that is, he chose Vienna. She's just horrible. If you choose to have a trashy woman represent you as your wife, (or even girlfriend) then you're not quality yourself. I was either wrong in the beginning, or Jake changed or slipped into retardation somewhere along the line. Once a Hooters waitress, always a Hooters waitress. Learn from your mistake, Jake, and return to the quality hard working Texan you once were.

Querelle suprise! Jake sounded like an idiot puppet on the show, saying everything and every girl is "amazing." No one on the show liked Vienna. I think Jake should stick to flying, and definitely not dancing. My opinion, I think he's confused . . . know what I mean????

Imagine that! I don't think they were a good match anyway! I wish they would pick true genuine couples for this show. It is always the same crap. One or the other is always there for themself and not for Love and marriage!!!! I think ABC can do a better job at scouting couples that can actually succeed in this process and not the ones that cause drama! I am getting bored with it!

Jake is soooo creepy. He is a wannabe and lost sight of the fact that he was on a stupid show to find his wife, although he was really out self-promoting. I have nothing against short men but he looks like a short, gay man who is stuck on himself with that goofy grin that is not cute at all. yuck.

I think they all go on that show, not for love but for all the trips they get to go on, all food and drinks they get, and like some of you said, you can't pick a husbanb or wife in 6 wks, when you have all them other people around you... I use to love this show, now I'm not so sure...
