Jeremy London on Kidnapping: 'I Thought I Was Going To Die'

In a brief video filmed in his car, Jeremy London tells
RadarOnline.com that he feared for his life during a
kidnapping ordeal where the 'Party of Five' and '7th Heaven' star says he was forced to smoke crack.
"I had a gun put to my head. I had my family threatened," London says in the video, which he uses in turns to thank his fans and insist the story, far-fetched as it may sound, is very true. "This actually did happen to me. It was one of the worst days of my life ... I thought I was going to die. Thank God I made it out alive."
The 37-year-old actor calls the alleged abduction "an absolute nightmare."
According to
Radar's report, London was changing a flat tire in Palm Springs, California, on June 10 when two men pulled over, initially claiming they wanted to help him. Things then took a quick turn, and London found himself being forcibly kidnapped by the two men.
The men then drove London in his own car, holding him at gunpoint the entire time. London claims the kidnappers forced him to smoke crack, saying, "Hit this! Hit this or I'm gonna kill you!" while holding a gun to his head and threatening to go after his 3-year-old son, Lyrik.
Brandon Adams, 26, pleaded not guilty to charges of robbery, kidnapping and vehicle theft. Adams' lawyer said in a statement that Adams and London had "partied together" the night of the incident.
"I'm confident that a jury will find that the allegations are just not true," Riverside County Attorney Gregory Geist told Radar.
The drug portion of the story is doubly serious for London, who has
battled drug addiction in the past. In September 2009, he checked into rehab to fight his prescription pill addiction. The actor was also going through a divorce from wife actress Melissa Cunningham and battling for custody of their son.
London's wife Melissa is confident in his story, telling Radar, "Police told us this is the new thing to do down here ... rob people at gunpoint and make them do drugs so they won't be reliable witnesses. It's happening more and more."
For now, London is grateful for support from friends and fans. "I want to say thank you to everyone who's been supportive of me through this whole process," he says in the video.

Replying to Aaron Miller:
Yes, it was...lol...that was my first thought when I first heard about this. I find this whole thing really hard to believe....

Sounds fishy to me. I thought it was pot he was supposed to have been forced to smoke. Now they're saying it was crack. This explains the elaborate lie he invented. 'Cause crack use is grounds for losing your job, buddy, as we all know. Nice try, and you may fool them once, but next time.......???

I think he was forced to smoke their poles - not their pot.

Anytime someone has to go out on a limb to declare "Im not lying, I swear" is most definitely lying...

So he was forced to smoke crack and purchase alcohol. Does he hear himself? He sound like a sixteen year old boy who's been busted by his parents.

His story is pathetic and ridiculous! I am not buying it either.

Hell of a story. And he'll be kidnapped again next
week when he wants to do drugs again????

who cares if it's the truth or not??? Is it your business??? I've known parents that did much worse than that and they still have full custody of thier children. Personally, true or not, I feel bad for the guy. What the hell did he ever do to you? Get a life and a hobby that isn't worrying about what celeb did what or who last night!

why would crack heads force a guy to smoke it when they could smoke it themselves! if it sounds fishy it is fishy. he is a crack addict and needs help. he is also a lousy liar lol

Kevin, I agree with you. One more odd thing: the crack heads make him smoke their stash at gun point, and forced him to buy alcohol for them and party with them but they didn't steal his car. Right... and I am Queen Elizabeth.
kevin, I agree with you. funny the crack heads forced him to smoke, buy alcohol and drink along with them, but they didn't steal his car. Right...
