Sean Patrick Thomas and Wife Welcome Baby Boy

'Save the Last Dance' actor Sean Patrick Thomas and wife Aonika Laurent Thomas welcomed a baby boy on June 9, his rep tells PEOPLE. Luc Laurent Thomas was born at 4:50pm in Los Angeles, California and the little guy weighed in at 7 lbs., 6 oz. "Baby and family are doing great," Thomas' rep said.

Thomas and his wife also have a daughter, Lola Jolie, who is 2. "Lola's very excited about having a baby brother," Laurent Thomas said.

"The biggest, most important thing we will ever do beyond careers is being parents," said Laurent Thomas. "I'm so delighted to share this experience with one of the most amazing men in the universe! We are so grateful to God for Luc... we couldn't be happier."

The couple, which announced the pregnancy in January, celebrated Luc's impeding birth earlier this month with a baby shower in Beverly Hills, PEOPLE reported. The couple invited 45 friends to the Southern-style soirée, which featured crawfish, jambalaya and shrimp scampi--in honor of Laurent Thomas' hometown of New Orleans.

"Everyone knows that I'm worse than Dorothy in the 'Wizard of Oz' when it comes to 'home,'" said Laurent Thomas the day of her shower.
