Gwen, what on earth would make you think Jake was gay? That is so crazy. I liked Jake until he made the bad choice of Vienna. Over and over again, all she could say was, "that was the kind of life she wanted to live". She was in love with the extravagant trips and lifestyle, not really into Jake. He was a jerk to go with Vienna. About the time a father told me I "had" to treat his daughter like a princess, like her's said, I'd be heading for the hills. Vienna definitely was NOT a Princess, so there would be no need to treat her as such. As far as the ring....she should give it back to ABC. If I had a woman that looked and acted like Vienna, I wouldn't want to be intimate with her either. She is one ugly mess of a girl.

That is my thought as well. Either he is gay, and wanted needed some notariety to go into acting as he has shown means more to him then anything else. Or it could be he was so brow beaten/controlled by her that he didnt want sex. But sorry, every man wants sex, doesnt matter who rubs it or how pissed you are at the girl.
