Daniel Radcliffe Was Convinced Justin Bieber Was a Woman

Daniel Radcliffe told MTV News he's "out of the loop when it comes to pop culture," and then committed a stellar gaffe to prove it.

"I only heard Justin Bieber for the first time two weeks ago," the 'Harry Potter' star said. "I genuinely thought it was a woman singing. I'd never heard it before. Is it big in England yet?" See the clip:

Lack of Biebs knowledge aside, Radcliffe was fit to chime in on Lady Gaga. "I think she's kind of amazing. She's really got a voice. My god," he said. "Not my kind of music, particularly, but she can really sing."

Radcliffe is set to return to Broadway, eschewing nudity ('Equus') for singing and dancing ('How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying') this fall. Bieber's 'My World' tour kicks off tomorrow.
