Mel Gibson Files Restraining Order Against Ex-Girlfriend

Mel Gibson has filed for a restraining order against Oksana Grigorieva, his ex-girlfriend and mother of his seven-month-old daughter, RadarOnline is reporting. According to the website, the actor filed the paperwork under seal today at the Los Angeles Superior Court.

The documents list Mel Gibson as the plaintiff and Oksana Grigorieva as the defendant. RadarOnline reports the documents were served to Grigorieva at her home last night.

Though the papers are sealed and can't be released to the public, it's reported the complaint is about three main issues and the movie star's access to his young daughter, Lucia.

Gibson and Grigorieva broke up in April after dating for little over a year. The break up was allegedly amicable, though at the time Grigorieva was quoted as saying, "We have split up, suddenly and recently... Unfortunately, I cannot give you the reason. But you will find out everything quite soon."

They made their first appearance as a couple only a few weeks after Gibson's wife of over 30 years filed for divorce. Gibson has seven children from his marriage in addition to Lucia with Grigorieva. She has a son, Alexander, from a previous relationship with actor Timothy Dalton.

I think his wife left him - not the other way around. The question is: What took her so long? Why did she put up with his serial cheating and drinking for 30 years? I believe they got married before he was a star so they probably didn't even have a pre-nup.

@ Mel: Because Mel and his wife were devout, and in Mel's case, hypocritcal, Catholics. Catholics are not supposed to disrespect the Sacrament of Marriage by divorcing - it is considered a sin. They are not supposed to use birth control either ~ which explains his 7 kids with his wife. They even built a church on their property at home so they could worship in a church in private without the intrusion of papparazi. So, his wife Robyn stayed with him through all his years of being away on film sets, drinking, carousing, and Jew-bashing... he repays his wife's loyalty by impregnating a woman with no morals.
