At Elton John's White Tie and Tiara Ball last Thursday in New York City, Lady Gaga graced the crowd with a brand new, rock-tinged piano ballad titled 'You and I.'"This song is very, very dear to my heart, and I just wrote it," Gaga said in her introduction. "It's a bit of a rock 'n' roll tune, which means it will most likely never get used as one of my singles."
The scantily clad singer gave a beyond-energetic performance, jumping up on the piano bench and pumping her fist, absolutely nailing the tune that "no one's ever heard before ... ever." See the video after the jump!

Rock tinged? Rock "n" Roll? Are these writers abusing illegal substances again? The only thing rock about this song is the crack that Lady Gaga is smoking! While she is a talented singer, she's just one of many, nothing spectacular, it's been done before, and will be done again.

I love it! It's so Gaga! Being over the top is her thing, and I suppose that isn't everyone's cup of tea. She's one of the talented artists of our time and is so well-liked because of her individuality. As for the "false British accent" I don't hear it.. People love to tear down people, especially celebrities to make themselves feel better..

What's up with the Madonna-When-She-Met-Guy-Ritchie-Dialect? Where's her New York City accent she should have acquired somewhere along the way of being from here? No one from NYC can recall her presence at any club. No one remembers seeing her around the street.
